We've been coming to Wilsonville Vets since 2003, and there have been many other vets clinics that have opened...and closed during that time period. We continue coming here because they consistently treat your family pets as their own...and your family as you were neighbors. Their clinic over the years has had new vets come in, but usually only to add to staff, because most vets here, stay and become not only very close with your pets, their personalities, their histories and do not treat them as a just a breed, but if it were their own family pet. Most importantly, they dont tush you through choices, but explain, listen, sit wirh you in those times when the choices are very difficult. This clinic is part of the Wilsonville community...they are the real deal and the reason why they've lasted where others have just passed through. Love all the vets and staff here but especially Tina at the front desk, and Drs. Kristen Beckley & Jennifer Anderson. While there has been some vet turnover in the 26 years we've taken our pets here, after the sadness of losing a great connection when someone moves on, this clinic seems to always replace with another vet we love. Obviously over those years, we've had heart-wrenching losses, new puppy joy, a multitude of minor injuries, and a few major health issues. I LOVE this vet!!!! They are so incredible with your animals, and so caring and helpful too!  They  really seem to care deeply about your pets, and have awesome follow-up too. I love all of the veternanians but my absolutely FAVORITE is Jennifer Anderson! She was made for this profession and is such an animal lover, you can definitely tell why she got into the business. Took my female German Shep. to them with the sire to have her artificially inseminated by him. He was young and couldn't figure it out so we brought them here. We were only able to do it once because she was out of heat the next day. They gave it a 70% chance. Well, last night 5 healthy puppies were born with no complications, exactly on her due date, down to the minute. We are so thankful that these folks do such an amazing job. Read Less

WVC is an amazing animal clinic with a wonderful caring staff and a clean, well maintained office and knowledgeable doctors and nurses. I bring my dog in every couple of months for nail services and regular checkups and the staff always remember her name and treat her as one of the family which I cannot think of anything better out of a veterinary clinic. I find myself lucky to have ended up in the same neighborhood as WVC and will continue to come here even if it becomes a commute in the future. Read Less

This place is a god sent . I have two English Bulldogs and they have constant needs . I was there a couple month ago for a cherry eye surgery that came out fantastic . The doctors are all very patience , very knowledgeable and very honest . They gave me a fair price and stuck to the it . It was about 35% less then other places I checked . This week my other bulldog had bladder stones lodged in his uretha by this os penis and he was completely block . Dr Anderson was on duty and the care she gave him was outstanding . She was so nice and explained everything along the way . No surprises in a bill , everything was upfront and not pushy . My experience has been OUTSTANDING since we adopted our 1st bulldog in 2009. He was a rescue and they helped him back to a healthy state. Mugsy wasn't wild about people he didn't know, but settled right in with Dr Calkins and team as if he had always known them. When we lost him very unexpectedly after 4 years, the team was there to help us thru that too. They were gentle with him when we took him to be cremated and sat with me in the office as I cried. They even called to check on me the next day and sent a very kind card. Later it was time to add to the family again. Our two new fur kids have been with Dr C and the team since they first came home. We've been thru puppy exams, two face to face meetings with wasp nests, eyelid surgery and a skin condition. Never once have we doubted the team. We moved, we still make the hour long drive each way. I can't recommend this clinic enough.  It's not only the consistency of wonderful care they show to both pets and their their two legged parents, but even more so, the compassion they truly give, especially during very difficult times.  The true kindness from the office staff to the techs to all the vets...you'll find they know and understand how your pet is family and treat them with as much love and dignity as they would their own.  There are a few other vet's in this area...and they have their pro's and con's.  But WVC has no comparison or equal to the care and treatment they offer...they truly have gone above and beyond in the care and understanding of our pets through baby years through all their 14 and 16 years.  Excellent staff, services and facility all around and very reasonable priced.  Will always be my pets care providers. I have come to this vet for my cat several times, and they have always gone above and beyond my expectations. Extremely compassionate when we had to make the choice to put one of our last cats down. They even sent us a card of condolences.Very helpful in helping you understand what is going on, and what your options are to be cost effective or not, depending on the route you want to take.I found this vet to be cheaper than one in particular in town.Even when they are busy, they seem to always be able to get me in somehow. And they always have called me to follow up, and make sure your pet is doing okay, and if you have any concerns.Very friendly staff! I have met 3 or 4 of their doctors and they are all very qualified, nice and compassionate to you and your pet. I recommend this vet to any and everyone who is looking for a reliable, friendly, and not outrageous in price vet.They have my business for life! Read Less

Excellent care - For the animals and their owners!  I heartily recommend this facility for any pet needs.  We've used Wilsonville Vet Clinic over 20 years.  All staff are wonderful to work with --from the front desk, vet techs, and vets -- they are professional, care about the animals and take extra steps to be sure the needs of the pets are met.  Dr. Lopate returns phone calls very quickly and has been instrumental in a successful breeding for my dog.  We leave our appointments knowing our pets were given the best care possible. Going to the vet is never fun, but WVC has been awesome. We had our last lab in and out of vets and emergency animal hospitals for a foreign object in her stomach. I have used this vet service at least 4 times.The Vet who has done the ultra-sound on my pregnant girls has obviously not taken classes in bedside manners. We first found this clinic by calling a Chihuahua breeder in Washington State. Another Veterinarian had seen our Chihuahua, Sophie , and basically missed the mark, So we called around to find a good Vet. as Sophie was suffering all night. In the morning we called Wilsonville Vet Clinic and traveled one hour to Wilsonville. Sophie was taken in immediately, x-rays were taken, and she was rehydrated. Kristen explained that sophie had a bladder infection but would not know the extent until she examined the x-rays. We had good results, sophie was given medication and by noon that same day Sophie was out of pain and back to normal. We cannot say enough great things about Kristen, the staff and Wilsonville Veterinary Clinic. That was over 2 years ago and we continue going to Wilsonville Veterinary Clinic. Read Less

I just dropped my dog off here today for a procedure and It is great always knowing he is in great hands when I take him here. My grandma and grandpa always took their pets to Dr. Caulkins and highly recommended him from the start, so when I got pets I started taking them here. Recently my dogs had a few incidents where we had to go to the vet ASAP and we saw Dr. Stuart instead of Dr. Caulkins. It's a normal reaction most of us have to be kind of cautious when we see someone else instead of a normal vet or doctor that we are used to seeing and already trust. Dr. Stuart quickly showed me within a matter of seconds how kind and caring she was towards animals and I can honestly say that her and Dr. Caulkins are extremely knowledgable in their fields. I had a cat that I actually took elsewhere because Wilsonville was kind of a far drive for me with a sick cat at the time, and her vet charged much more than Wilsonville and she wasn't getting better after the visit. I took her to Wilsonville shortly after and they diagnosed her and helped her symptoms tremendously. They don't cost a ton compared to other vets, and the quality care my pets have received from them is the reason I keep coming back. My dogs have seen two other vets at the practice too and they were also great. It's great knowing I can trust anyone in this clinic with my pets and it makes me happy to know that no matter who they end up seeing I can breathe easy knowing they will be well taken care of. I can also say that I have been here for more than just the simple routine checkups. I have two sport dogs and one of them is always getting into something and is pretty accident prone so I have been here several times for stitches and other things, so I have experienced this clinic numerous times and I have never left feeling taken advantage of or feeling like my pet didn't receive great care. This is a full service veterinary clinic. And by that I mean our services began with conception, included the delivery of our little bundle of puppy joy and her litter mates, and has continued with her puppy care.When our beloved dog passed away earlier this summer, we had stayed with the same veterinary clinic in Lake Oswego from her very first vet visit, through a prolonged illness, until we were finally able to say goodbye over 15 years later. While I was always generally happy with the quality of care, there were a few bumps along the way. But emotionally I didn't think I could return there with our new pup because there were just too many memories. I needed a clean break.As with most things, I did a fair bit of research before choosing this clinic. It has positive word of mouth from friends, supported by good Yelp reviews and the location is convenient for our family. It was funny taking our pup here for our first visit to realize this was not the first time they'd met her. The veterinary clinic is also home to Reproductive Revolutions, so some breeders start the process here. My direct interaction started with scheduling her rabies vaccination and check-up, then insertion of her microchip, etc. During these visits, I have been very satisfied with the on-site care. And while this isn't the fanciest facility, it is clean and has a very good design. You enter through one door, check in, go to your examination room, then pay and leave through another door. For those folks with pets that don't play well with others, this alleviates a lot of door/confrontation issues. Our last clinic had you all coming and going in one small waiting room and it was problematic.The pricing seems reasonable and there haven't been any surprise fees or upselling unnecessary boutique services. This took a few places closer to my home off the table. The only thing keeping me from five stars are some minor issues/delays scheduling appointments. These folks Care! Superior care for the usual stuff. Then when my Sweetie (choc lab) started having pain, they diagnosed the cancer quickly and did not try to sell me on any more expensive treatment. Together, we made the decisions that were best for Sweetie and Me. The staff was incredibly supportive when we had to send her on. They knew her, and they were sad. I have been very happy with the vets at this clinic, who have taken care of our cats now for the five years that we have had them. They've seen us through having to put down the first two (both older cats, inherited from my parents) and routine care for the younger ones who replaced them. They have been friendly, gentle when we were grieving, helpful when we were worried, and patient when our scaredy-cat was worried (and trying to flee).I'm mildly phobic of large dogs (working on it), which is obviously something you might encounter at a vet. :) They have been kind about that and have worked to minimize my having to deal with them - making sure we get back to a room and out of the waiting area as early as possible, and checking that there's no large dogs in the exit area when we go.Good care for the pets, from good people. I travel 30 minutes from my home to use Wilsonville Veterinary Clinic. The vets are very knowledgeable and they are a group of compassionate professionals. I have referred them to many of my puppy buyers, many have used them and are as happy I am (they make the trek too). I recently had to put my best of best old friends to sleep and the vets and staff were very helpful to me. They made sure my girl went in peace, surrounded in love. I will continue traveling there, as I have never found such committed vets to insure the health and happiness of my champion linage AKC Golden retriever family!Read Less

I have been to many vets in Oregon, but none of them seemed to care so little for my family and their feelings during such a hard time. My dog had to be put down, and due to complications it needed to be done sooner rather than later. My family had this little guy for 10+ years and he was loved by everyone. When we arrived to the office we were shuffled back to a cold and hospital like room with a metal table to sit him on. NOT ONCE were we asked if we needed anything as each member of my family was in tears. What we were asked how ever.... is if we were going to be paying for the procedure NOW OR LATER? Are you kidding me? Who asks that when you are in a situation like that? This clinic apparently! They were more concerned with getting their money than to make sure my family was ok, as we were saying goodbye to a best friend. This was the first time we have had to put down a dog, and we had no idea what to do or expect. We were told that he would fall asleep and pass and that it was painless. What we weren't told, is that he would gasp as he past, and then later take a big breathe out 30 seconds after he was dead, lose bowl control ect... NOT OK. How hard is it to explain to us what is going to happen? In a vet clinic, this is the one procedure that you need to NAIL DOWN. This has to be the one thing you do 100%. This clinic did it terribly, with the only thing done right as the injection. I will NEVER, EVER send another animal to this clinic as long as I live in the state, and I strongly recommend that you check them out before you are forced to go through something as horrible and traumatic as my family had to. This clinic is in dire need of re-vamping its customer service and client care levels. Sub par doesn't even begin to describe it. Read Less
