I had found a kitten a couple days ago with a broken leg and a few burns on its face and got to take it in to the vet today. They were friendly and helpful and even offered a complimentary check up for free. All and all, she needed antibiotics and an amputation. The price ran about 675 all together and being in the financial spot i was in, i had to surrender her. They told me they would clean her up and get her in for surgery and move her to be adopted once she healed. We had a sick goat and had a tough time finding someone to help. Until we found Woodburn Vet Clinic. The polite receptionist listened to my situation and got a Dr on the phone to help assess. I took in a fecal sample late in the afternoon on a Friday and had results and medications in just over an hour. Goat is doing much better. I couldn't be more thankful and feel so blessed for the Woodburn veterinary clinic and Dr. Blake's superb care and service for our piglet Pearl. She suddenly came down with pnemonia and Dr. Blake saw her right away without an appointment. Pearl was quite sick and we were all so worried for her, it was decided that she needed to stay at the clinic for an entire day so that she could receive the proper care from Dr. Blake to get her back on her feet. When we picked her up she was a whole new piggy! Dr. Blake saved our baby Pearls life and we couldn't be more thankful! I waited in a room for 25 minutes before I had to go out front and ask if anyone forgot about me. The assistant came in to take my cat's temp and I had to hold the cat while she did it..... I waited another 15 min for the Dr to come in, and when she did she was not friendly at all. She made me feel like my time wasn't as important as hers, told me sorry I had to wait but they are really busy on Saturday's and she was right in the middle of delivering a goat. Honestly, if they didn't have time, they shouldn't have scheduled me. I waited almost an hour total for a 5 min check up with the Dr. All she did was prescribe some vitamins that my cat won't even eat. Such a waste of time and money. The Dr also scolded me for using plastic water and food bowls, and not giving my cat flea medication once a month (even though he didn't have fleas). I will not go back to this clinic, they made me feel like I was just a burden in their day. Read Less

Dr. Blake (Miller) was amazing to work with! He was incredibly professional, honest and knew what he was doing in the care of my piggie boys. They can be difficult to work with, but he got right in there with them and did what needed to be done for their health, quickly and efficiently. After dealing with some other vets/offices that didn't have the proper knowledge, experience or willingness to properly work with animals of the porcine variety (or ornery animals of any variety), working with Dr. Blake was a blessing! The word incompetent comes to mind, I have been taking are animals to them for almost 14 yrs now and finally had enough, 3 yrs ago we decide to take our farm animal business to Silverton Vet but kept our pets in Woodburn, Today was the last straw, we have taken all our animals to the Abiqua animal Clinic, If you care for you're pets please don't take them to Woodburn Veterinary Clinic. without going into details they truly are lost over there and will try and charge you for services you don't need. I was there and i had brought in a very sick cat just last week july 23, 2009. It was very sad to have to hear that the cat had to be put down. On the other side i heard that they also have lower prices than the vet hsopital in woodburn oregon; that's where i usually take my pets to. On e of my animale s deied of parvo and i had no money and he was a family dog his name was Louis. Anyway my experince with this pet clinic is that its cheap and affordable and i have a new kitten and his name is friskey boots and he's 4 months old. He just got his first Vacs. and he also got dewormed and defleaed and my kitten came from a mother who was/is sick and needs treatment herself and i couldn't save them all but i saved this one and i'm glad i did...........
