My husband and I just got a golden puppy and brought him in for his vaccinations and tests. Although, there was an emergency early that morning that prevented us from being seen promptly, the tech led us into a room where Tucker would be more comfortable. The tech was really nice with him and gentle. We ended up waiting 45 minutes to be seen - it would have been better to have received a call prior to coming to let us know - but understand emergencies happen. The vet was also very nice with him and answered all of our first time dog owner questions, no matter how ridiculous! We are boarding our boy for one night this week - I will update my review afterwards. They are a small office and I like that as well. I feel it provides a more personalized visit. Read Less

The staff was fantastic. They got my cats in within hours, on Columbus Day, when most places were closed! They were professional, knowledgeable and just so nice. They took the time to talk to me and give me advice and important information. Dr. Pet Fixer has been our vet for 6 years. When my Great Pyr jumped out my window and broke her leg (yes...it happened!), I was over an hour away when I got the call from a neighbor. When my regular vet refused to help me, Dr. Pet Fixer closed her office, came to my house, scooped my 90 pound dog off the lawn and put her in her car to get her to the office. I just wanted to take a minute to say what a wonderful job Dr. Petfixer did when we lost our beloved persian cat, Cash. Dr. Monteiro and Jenna, were there for me every step of the process and comforted me. And after all was said and done, and we mourned our loss, we received his ashes in a beautiful box, along with a keepsake paw print and a lock of his fur. But one of the most cherished things that we received was a beautiful card from Dr. Monteiro and Jenna who were with me when he passed. I'm so thankful for everything that we received after we lost Cash, because it doesn't feel so lonely anymore. We have been going to Dr. Petfixer, Dr. Monteiro for almost 6 years now. She is the best Vet we have found in years! She takes time with you and goes over everything even if it is just for a well visit. She is always on time which is very important to our busy schedules. When we did have an emergency she was getting ready to go home but she stayed so we could run our cat over to check her out. Dr. Monteiro and her staff are amazing! Started bringing my cat here when I got him neutered last year, and now I bring him for asthma treatment. They care about the animals and you can tell. They always make sure you leave with all your questions answered and they also make follow up phone calls to make sure your furry family is doing well. It's cheaper than any vet I've ever been too and I feel like it's more personable here, they remember who you are, and it's not about cashing out, we all know those vet bills add up quickly and more times than not, it's as if vets care about you paying vs the health of your pet. I've had horrible experiences at other facilities and love bringing my cat to someone who cares! They also have a membership club to where you earn points for money spent, that can be traded in for other services, I haven't seen that anywhere else and it's amazing that they offer something like that because every penny counts! Dr. Petfixer is amazing. Our dog is very private and does not like to be touched on certain private areas. Dr. and staff do a phenomenal job handling her for her exams, injuries and her grooming. When we have to travel we even boarded our animals there and it was refreshing knowing we did not have to worry. I cannot stress enough how much We love this practice! We have had a lot of cats and house rabbits over the years. I've been to most of the veterinary practices around. While there are positives & negatives everywhere, I can say I am loyal to Dr. Monteiro. She has done so much for our pets. This month our cat had a leg amputated. The cancer was growing quickly. Over the July 4th week Dr. Monteiro spent countless time arranging surgery as soon as possible. How many vets would do that? She truly cares about your pets. We used the grooming service. The Dr. and staff were very nice. We took a tour on a Saturday prior to taking our dogs there. I was asked to drop off at 9am. I was hoping to meet the groomer then. I rescued a female pit and they were going to have her spayed for me...however, I needed to find my own vet to do it because in that short time she became family and I needed to know she was going to be well taken care of.
