In my personal experience and opinion this office should not be doing surgery for ectropion. I have heard the phrase "botched surgery" more than i care to mention. Should have known it was messed up when I had to take my dog to a different vet to replace stitches and she commented that "she sure did cut a lot off". My dog will always have to have eye drops in her eyes to prevent dryness and infection, especially since she doesn't have any eyelids or tear ducts. I was never informed that this type of surgery rarely works out well or that my poor dog would have lifelong complications from this. Ask for a second opinion. Do not allow this vet to do this surgery to your dog. There are specialists out there who are better trained. Read Less
