LIARS!!!! And LAZY!!! Every single person that answers the phone in this office is a liar. I made an appointment for my dog (first time) about a month ago. I asked them at that time to call my current vet hospital and request the records. Guess what? I called back to confirm the appointment a few days ago - nobody requested the records. SO i ask again - i was told someone will do it and call me back to confirm. NO CALL BACK! So i called again - i was told "oh, I got put on hold, and i was busy so i hung up. But i will call again and call you back to confirm". That was 2 days ago - no call back! So i called a 3rd time - just to get these ppl to do their job. This time, i get told "oh, we haven't received the records yet" - did you actually request it? Oh - i don't know, i wasn't here yesterday. OKKK THEN, LETS CALL THEM TOGETHER. I do a 3 way call (REALLY?? THIS IS MY JOB NOW?) - my current vet picks up right away - i was told they'll send the email right now. Took less than 2 minutes. WOW, just WOW!!!!! Did you really call? or were you just lying to me for no reason? If this is how it starts - can i really trust anything that comes out of your mouth about my dog's health condition? NO THANK YOU!!!! So - consider this review my notice of cancellation for the appointment on Wednesday!!!! I will not be allowing you anywhere near my dog.

Unfortunately had a negative experience here. From the Dr himself down through the reception staff, not friendly or welcoming. The almighty dollar definitely means more than the care of the animal.

I'm a former customer of Banfield hospital at PetSmart until they turned my three-year-old Shepherd away who had an emergency because it was Friday at 3 and I guess they wanted to start their weekend early this vet is smart and knows what he's talking about Andy has affordable prices too. You can even buy flea medicine and heartworm medicine right there whatever you do don't take your animals to Banfield Pet Hospital they are no more than a shot clinic if you ever have an emergency you'll be going to an emergency vet and paying more

In addition to great care, anytime I need anything fax of records, for example - the turnaround is quick and precise. The expertise of Dr. Madden and the efficiency of his staff are noteworthy. Oh, and the office is always so clean and fresh smelling.

My mother has had dogs and cats and 50 years of dealing with vets. She says Dr. Madden is the best she dealt with. I live almost an hour away from Dr. Madden, but take my two cats to him. First, it was because I'd take my cats anywhere my mother took her dogs. Now, I appreciate Dr. Madden and he is worth trip. I don't know if he is more expensive or not - all vets are - but I trust him he won't do anything unneccessary, or "guilt" me into anything. He's told me services I don't need. I trust him with my cats.

Dr. Madden has a short and sweet demeanor. However, he is amazing. He performed a surgery on my dog and saved my cats life, literally. He performed surgery on my dog Penny after she got bit by another dog. The price was VERY reasonable and she was home the same day. She recovered amazingly. He also saved my cat's life. I mean this literally. Without going into detail... Yoda was given three days to live and through quick action by Dr. Madden Yoda had, same day, emergency surgery at VRC. Yoda recovered amazingly. He is a typical crazy and energetic two year old cat that loves to tease my dogs!

I only gave one star in this review because I was not able to post my comment without doing so- I would rate Dr. Madden as far below zero as humanly possible. Dr. Madden has been our vet for 15 years and when we brought our dog into see him after she injured a cyst (which he, for years, has told us was harmless and to ignore it) on her side and was bleeding, we were told that there was nothing that could be done and that we should choose to put her down that very day. Shocked, we attempted to give an explanation about the injury and how it was sustained but our concerns were ignored. We took our dog to a second vet who carefully examined her and assisted us through this injury. Our dog is doing wonderfully now and passed every health test with flying colors. To say that we are angry is the understatement of the century. It is one thing to give us absolutely incorrect medical information about our dog but to disrespect us like that after 15 years of patronage is absolutely unacceptable. Dr. Madden does not deserve to take care of your pets; please choose someone who will give you the respect and care you deserve.

Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience here. We took a stray cat in to see Dr. Madden. I called ahead to ask about his charges for basic FIV test as I was unemployed, and did NOT want to be surprised by a vet bill. What they did not tell me is they have an initial office visit charge of $50!!! I later found out his test fee was also 2 to 3 times charged elsewhere.After the costly exam, he could not tell if the cat was already spayed. So I took it to a spay clinic and paid the fees to get her fixed. They shaved her, and found out she is already spayed with the tattoo mark! I am shocked that Dr. Madden didn't see it, and that it cost me the additional money at the spay clinic I could not afford.I don't take my cat back there as I don't trust him anymore.

In addition to great care, anytime I need anything fax of records, for example - the turnaround is quick and precise. The expertise of Dr. Madden and the efficiency of his staff are noteworthy. Oh, and the office is always so clean and fresh smelling.

My mother has had dogs and cats and 50 years of dealing with vets. She says Dr. Madden is the best she dealt with. I live almost an hour away from Dr. Madden, but take my two cats to him. First, it was because I'd take my cats anywhere my mother took her dogs. Now, I appreciate Dr. Madden and he is worth trip. I don't know if he is more expensive or not - all vets are - but I trust him he won't do anything unneccessary, or "guilt" me into anything. He's told me services I don't need. I trust him with my cats.

Dr. Madden has a short and sweet demeanor. However, he is amazing. He performed a surgery on my dog and saved my cats life, literally. He performed surgery on my dog Penny after she got bit by another dog. The price was VERY reasonable and she was home the same day. She recovered amazingly. He also saved my cat's life. I mean this literally. Without going into detail... Yoda was given three days to live and through quick action by Dr. Madden Yoda had, same day, emergency surgery at VRC. Yoda recovered amazingly. He is a typical crazy and energetic two year old cat that loves to tease my dogs!

I only gave one star in this review because I was not able to post my comment without doing so- I would rate Dr. Madden as far below zero as humanly possible. Dr. Madden has been our vet for 15 years and when we brought our dog into see him after she injured a cyst (which he, for years, has told us was harmless and to ignore it) on her side and was bleeding, we were told that there was nothing that could be done and that we should choose to put her down that very day. Shocked, we attempted to give an explanation about the injury and how it was sustained but our concerns were ignored. We took our dog to a second vet who carefully examined her and assisted us through this injury. Our dog is doing wonderfully now and passed every health test with flying colors. To say that we are angry is the understatement of the century. It is one thing to give us absolutely incorrect medical information about our dog but to disrespect us like that after 15 years of patronage is absolutely unacceptable. Dr. Madden does not deserve to take care of your pets; please choose someone who will give you the respect and care you deserve.

Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience here. We took a stray cat in to see Dr. Madden. I called ahead to ask about his charges for basic FIV test as I was unemployed, and did NOT want to be surprised by a vet bill. What they did not tell me is they have an initial office visit charge of $50!!! I later found out his test fee was also 2 to 3 times charged elsewhere.After the costly exam, he could not tell if the cat was already spayed. So I took it to a spay clinic and paid the fees to get her fixed. They shaved her, and found out she is already spayed with the tattoo mark! I am shocked that Dr. Madden didn't see it, and that it cost me the additional money at the spay clinic I could not afford.I don't take my cat back there as I don't trust him anymore.

Dr. Madden is conscientious in his care, well informed and takes the time to provide information and instructions to help us better tend to our pets. This was a great find for us - from a welcoming staff to attentive Vet care; service here is reliable and consistent. Very little wait time with appts. Thank you, Dr. Madden and staff.

This is the vet for us! Dr. Madden and his staff are super nice, professional and loving. We've now taken our dog as well as one of our cats and we've been really happy. Not only do they really care about the pets they're seeing, they won't charge you an arm and a leg for the privilege of having a healthy pal.Piper the dog says "woof woof arf bark" and Sir the cat says "meow, meeeow, ouch, damn it, meow."
