Community Veterinary Practice

Bath, Pennsylvania
General Info
Community Veterinary Practice in Bath provides caring and expert services to pets from the local area. Their services include Boarding, Dental Care, Pet Euthanasia, Microchipping, and Surgery. The practice’s team understands the special role pets play in families and strives to promote wellness, address chronic issues, and attend to urgent needs. Community Veterinary Practice supports Bath families by combining joint programs with breed routines and lifestyle rechecks, adjusted to Pennsylvania’s weather patterns, in one animal plan. The first set of inquiries regarding daily movement focuses on areas like climbing ability, resting position, jump tolerance, fatigue levels, and social interaction. The head-to-tail examination considers the following: weight, orthopedic symmetry, range of motion, coat health, breathing comfort, oral condition and sensory response. The awareness concerning breed tendencies such as hip dysplasia, spinal issues, allergies, and overheating depends on a pet’s background and some physical clues. Community Veterinary Practice offers various services such as vaccine programs, lab work, lameness checks, nutritional coaching, dental exams, and pain evaluations. Review schedules depend on both seasonal and breed-related risk factors. Consider when the condition flares up most; for example, winter stiffness in large breed dogs, spring pollen allergies, or heat intolerance affecting exercise. The planning process may entail program adjustments according to age-specific stages and recommendations on activity-based conditioning. Visit reports, which are shared with the families, focus on the home-based adjustments (harness type), temperature awareness and weight targets. Return schedules are also adjustable, based on athletic accomplishments. Or to monitor recovery processes as well as the pet’s arthritis or advancing age since this factor is weather-sensitive. Community Veterinary Practice in Bath, PA, provides pet owners with a structured approach to daily management, which includes movement patterns and time schedules in combination with breed awareness. They are committed to prevention, early detection, and timely treatment. Customers value the openness, educational assistance, and tailored suggestions. Whether it is a complex diagnosis or an elder pet, the team stays fully involved in all cases. Their reputation keeps growing as more pet owners learn about their unique approach to animal health.

This was not quoted throughout the visit and did not tell me about when checking out and the vet was completely aware. They also refused to refund or retract that arbitrary fee. Absolutely ridiculous. I also had many questions that were not answered concerning the condition of my pet including issues that were already known. Consider other places before coming here!!! I would highly recommend Community Veterinary Practice. The entire staff is wonderful & very compassionate!! I took my pets here from the time they opened the practice in Klecknersville. My cat had problems for a long time and Dr. Bud took the time to understand his case. He did everything, and when I say everything I mean everything, until my cat took his last breath. I continue to take my other pet and will until it is his turn to go meet his maker!! Thank you to the entire staff for always being there and understanding!! 5 star by far!!! Read Less

I wrote a review and have no idea what happened to it, wrote it a few months ago, so I'm writing it again. The staff and Dr Hulsizer are the best in business. I have been to other vets, as I had pets all my life, but never did I have such a warm, caring, loving individual as Bud! We are not just a number to him, he truly cares about the animals, and is always trying to get them to be his friend. He tells it like it is, with compassion and caring. He takes his time with us no matter how many questions we have. He develops a friendship with his clients that make you feel warm and welcome which is very important. I would trust no other with my dogs. I trust him with their lives and don't think twice.I don't know what happened with the woman who had the cat, but Dr. Hulsizer is never unprofessional!! He is very compassionate and always caring.Thank you Jane, Doc Bud, and all the staff at community vet, for taking such EXCEPTIONAL care of all my babies.Debra Beahm Read Less
