I can't say enough about Hilltop. I have a Rottie, who was very nervous and shy. We had a very bad experience at another vet who scared him. I took my boy to Hilltop and explained the problem. The tech worked with him for 30 minutes, getting him to relax. Dr. Betlem was excellent. He took his time with him, and was able to do the exam. My boy wasn't 100% OK with everything, but he was 200% better than he was with my previous vet. I transferred all of my dog's and cat's records to Hilltop, and my other two Rotts love him, too. They're the best.

I've been taking my dogs here for years and I love this vet office. They're very good about getting you an appointment asap and always very friendly. I've never had a bad experience

Everyone is kind and pleasant. Very good and prompt customer service. I had previously had a miscommunication with a bill for my dog’s recent surgery and the issue was resolved in less than 24 hours, which was a much welcomed and needed surprise (I don’t think this would have happened with a larger company). I am so happy with everyone at Hilltop. We were just there today. They fit us in so my dog would not have to suffer from a double ear infection over the long holiday weekend. We have 3 dogs, one has a seriously condition, called Addisons Disease. Everyone has been so great helping us with this and keeping us informed. They are so good with Gracie, that Gracie can’t wait to go see them. I feel so blessed to have them as our vet. 12-29-17

Hilltop is wonderful! They take very great care of our fur baby and understand that he isn’t just a pet, he is our family. They are always available to answer questions and reassure me that my pet is in good hands. Their recent addition of Dr. Betlem makes Hilltop even more desirable and he is a great addition to Dr. Stetter. All staff here deserve a pat on the back for their continuous care of our animals and also their donations to local shelters.

The team at Hilltop is the best. Every time we are there we not only get excellent care for our pets but they take good care of the humans as well. You can tell that the people working there love what they do and they do it for the animals. I highly recommend Hilltop to anyone who is seeking an amazing team to take care of their furchild.

What kind of "Animal Hospital" is closed on the weekends? we have a time sensitive medical emergency, that could have been treated had these idiots been open on the weekends.
Prices are great, and when it's all you can afford it's better than nothing, but the damage was already done, and likely cannot be reversed. Since the situation is worse they might charge MORE to treat it, i would not be surprised at all... If you got the money, go elsewhere. Do your pet a favor and avoid this place if you can. While this "hospital" takes the weekends off, your pet's medical problems sure wont.

Very disappointed. After many years going here, this practice is no longer my vet. They seem uncaring, take their time to respond *2 hrs.* in an emergency. No good things to say about Hilltop.

While the vets themselves are very friendly, I have consistently had issues with one of the vet techs. She is rude, disconnected, and lacks empathy when dealing with pet owners. They also lack the understanding of people who are low-income and on a fixed budget. It is $50 to walk through the door. Which is coincidental as WV is one of the poorest states in the nation. If they up the empathy and make their care more affordable to those who need it, then I would change my rating.

I can't say enough about Hilltop. I have a Rottie, who was very nervous and shy. We had a very bad experience at another vet who scared him. I took my boy to Hilltop and explained the problem. The tech worked with him for 30 minutes, getting him to relax. Dr. Betlem was excellent. He took his time with him, and was able to do the exam. My boy wasn't 100% OK with everything, but he was 200% better than he was with my previous vet. I transferred all of my dog's and cat's records to Hilltop, and my other two Rotts love him, too. They're the best.

I am so happy with everyone at Hilltop. We were just there today. They fit us in so my dog would not have to suffer from a double ear infection over the long holiday weekend. Hilltop is wonderful! They take very great care of our fur baby and understand that he isn’t just a pet, he is our family. They are always available to answer questions and reassure me that my pet is in good hands. Prices are great, and when it's all you can afford it's better than nothing, but the damage was already done, and likely cannot be reversed. While the vets themselves are very friendly, I have consistently had issues with one of the vet techs. She is rude, disconnected, and lacks empathy when dealing with pet owners.
