I would recommend Dr. S. and her staff to anyone.  Firstly, Dr. Sacksteder is amazing.  It is clear that she is knowledgeable and wants nothing but the best outcome for your pet.  Outside of knowing her stuff, she treats each patient as if it were her own.  My dog and cats get kisses, pets and love every time they are there.  Secondly, the staff are just as loving to your animals as Dr. S. and are knowledgeable when asked questions.  I live about 25 minutes away from Canonsburg but will continue to make the drive because of the high quality of service. We switched to this practice simply because it was closer to home. We knew several people who told us that it was considerably more expensive than other veterinary practices in our area. It turned out to be the most over the top expensive vet care our pets have ever received. Care was fine, but our pets received comparable if not better care at our previous vet for one fifth of the price so we've gone back to the practice we left. We'd rather drive a little further so as not to break the bank. We also found there to be a lot of unnecessary over treatment which our previous vet's practice prided themselves on staying away from. This is surely what drives up the cost. Had we purchased everything that was suggested during our visit to All bout Pets, we would have spent almost $200 more than the already outrageous bill cost. We suggest that you ask for the cost of every service being given to your pet before it is administered if you don't want to be hit with sticker shock. Otherwise, you will be hit with a bill which will cost you a few hundred dollars for routine care. Read Less

Whether its routine care or something difficult to diagnose, Dr S will take care of it. She does not stop until she gets to the bottom of what's causing your pet to not feel well. The staff is great too- friendly and knowledgeable. I've been to other places where I didn't trust the staff to give even a booster shot... Not here. Some are like mini vets. I have been taking my pets to Dr. S and staff for a number of years. I can not say enough complimentary things about them. We have experienced everything from well check ups with our cats and dogs to the euthanasia of beloved pets. In all of these events they have been outstanding. The care, compassion and honesty has surpassed my expectations. We now live in Coraopolis and drive back to have our new furbabies, Coton de Tulears, treated by Dr. S. I must speak to the excellence of this clinic. Every staff member is knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile for you and your pet. I even receive follow up calls to see how my pups are doing. I trust Michelle the Veterinarian with the lives of all three of my dogs. She is personable, knowledgeable and you can tell that she cares for each animal that she sees. She has seen my pups many times and each time the care given to them is exceptional. My oldest dog has some issues, and Michelle values my opinions on her health care and has formulated a plan of care that works with me and my dog. I have a very tight budget. I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Sacksteder for well over ten years. I drive to Canonsburg from Beaver to take my dogs to her and the staff. She is compassionate and very knowledgable. My big dog Duncan was very sick as a puppy and I owe his life to her. He's very scared when he goes to the vet and she actually sits on the floor with him for the exam. Not many vets would be that accommodating. Her staff are so sweet. You can tell they all genuinely love what they do.
