I have been taking my pets to Brandywine Veterinary Hospital for over 30 years. I currently have 3 yellow Labrador Retrievers, all with their own issues. Dr.Gray and his staff have exhibited exemplary care and performance in working with me, my family, as well as, my beloved pets. Dr. Gray takes the time to listen to me, while taking a detailed history, before determining any necessary treatments or tests. He discusses every option with me, always pointing out the pros and cons. 3 years ago, my oldest lab was gagging and having a hard time breathing. I was beyond distraught! Dr. Gray diagnosed him with Laryngitis Paralysis, and recommended a special surgical center that performs over a 1,000 surgeries of that particular procedure a year. It is because of Dr. Gray that my yellow lab is alive and well, today, and approaching 13 years of age. He took the time to explain to me that I needed to use elevated dog bowls, moisten his food, to not give him any more milk bones, and to change from a collar to a halter. I, now, wish I had never used a collar on any of my dogs. My other lab, leaps out of the car and runs into the vet hospital like Raggedy Andy. Dr.Gray recognized, immediately, that he does not like to be forced onto an examining table -- he kneels down to examine/treat him on his level. Dr. Gray, and his staff, have accommodated me in so many other ways, such as; arranging for an ultrasound technician to meet me at their veterinary hospital instead of sending me to one of those special clinics. I am able to email Debbie (the office manager) and ask her to mail me meds since I live 35 miles away -- 70 miles round trip. Bottom line -- I love it there! My pets feel comfortable and receive optimum care! Dr. Gray and his team's attention to detail are second to none. I give them 5 stars! Read Less
