I have to say I went to this highly recommended vet once, a year and a half ago. It was stated without testing that my cat probably suffered from the herpes virus passed on to her through her mother's...
I have to say I went to this highly recommended vet once, a year and a half ago. It was stated without testing that my cat probably suffered from the herpes virus passed on to her through her mother's milk when she was a baby. Symptomatically speaking she has runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes they prescribed antibiotics and then shortly after she has the same incurable virus back again. I have no tolerance or patience for presumed diagnosis with no substantive proof or validation. I tried to make an appointment with them today they wouldn't see her. Previously they sent me her medical records and told me I should go elsewhere. They were highly insensitive and rude. My cat really does need to be seen again and they wouldn't come through for me because I guess they despise me because of my questioning and dissatisfaction with them. They wouldn't put the doctor on and said that they saw her a year-and-a-half ago and they can't do anything. They said I should see an internal medicine specialist. I think my cat has an upper respiratory infection or pneumonia and this is what they said. Don't waste your time going to this vet. They practice assumptive medicine. They're open in mornings and afternoons they're never there in the evenings for the working people or for the patient. Seek a more highly trained, sensitive, caring and competent Veterinary practice. "Oh we aren't going to do that, you are better off going to an actual groomer." Before I was able to say anything, she hung up the phone on me. RUDE!

Dr. Castro is the gentlest, most caring and knowledgeable veterinarian that has ever cared for my "kids." I had to write a review after this month, since losing my 16-year-old Siamese-mix cat. My little guy made it to 16 years because of Dr. Castro. He was diagnosed diabetic at age 10, and his prognosis at the time was very poor. However, because of Dr. Castro's medical attention, my little guy lived another 6 long and healthy years. Dr. Castro successfully treated his diabetes, and his condition went into remission for 6 years. I can honestly say I do not believe he would have made it another year past 10 without her care. When the time did finally come, Dr. Castro was there to provide the best and most sincere advice. It was one of the toughest days, and one of the toughest decisions I've had to make. Dr. Castro and her staff did everything they could to ease grief on that difficult day and to alleviate his suffering. They were honestly the best for my little guy.My other "child" is a real scaredy-cat, but he is definitely calmed by Dr. Castro's gentle manner. I have nothing but positive feedback and high praise for Dr. Castro and her staff. I cannot thank them enough.

Dr. Castro is by far the most caring and attentive doctor my cats have ever seen. Our most recent cat was diagnosed with diabetes over a year ago, and Dr. Castro has been phenomenal in helping us regulate his blood glucose levels. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, calling or emailing with reminders if they think medication is running low. I highly recommend anyone to have their felines in Dr. Castro's care!!

She is an excellent vet who takes time to answer every question and address every concern, no matter how trivial it may seem. She is compassionate and thorough, and handles my cats with great care. Her staff is also competent, caring, and very helpful. I highly recommend Collegeville Cat Clinic for any kitty you have!

I have been taking my cats to the Collegeville Cat Clinic for about 7 years. Dr. Castro and her staff have always been very kind, compassionate, and professional. It has never been difficult to get an appointment, and her costs are extremely reasonable.
If you have cats and live in the area, I highly recommend bringing them to the Collegeville Cat Clinic. They will be in good hands.
