Dr. Callow cares about animals because she is a kind and smart professional. She doesn't try to sugar coat things - she is honest and she is compassionate. Our kitty was very sick. Another local $$ vet (nice waiting room - and you pay for it) wanted to hospitalize her but wouldn't say why it would help. Dr. Callow explained that nothing would save her - it was end stage kidney disease. She worked with us as we wanted to keep Athena alive as long as she had QUALITY of life. Dr. Callow helped us give her 3 more wonderful months (albeit with a lot of work at home - but this was our choice) and when the day came, she stayed with us as we cried and said good-bye. Dr. Callow's prices are so much less than the fancy waiting room places, but her care is better. Read Less

Dr. Callow told me not to worry about testing my cat for feline leukemia. Two months later I lost my cat to feline leukemia, had she been tested I would have been prepared for this but Dr.Callow led me to believe she was perfectly healthy and safe to let around my other cats. I now have to have my other cats tested. On top of that, I had tried to contact the office for a month without a single one of my messages being returned. Highly unprofessional office. Their prices may be affordable that is not worth the corners they cut. Read Less
