Good vet and caring but extremely impossible to get hold of. Staff does not answer phones or call back in a timely matter. When he's away for emergencies there is no update on answering machine and staff does not know what to do. Someone should be at the phones at all times even if it is to just answer the calls, schedule appointments or tell you that the doctor is with a patient as soon as he is available someone will get back to you. They never answer the phone... they may call back and leave a message but when you try to return the call, no one answers again!!! No computer system to look up information or share records... didn't know whether the cat I was fostering was male or female as they had both written down on different papers... Read Less

LOVE this vet. We found it when we first moved into the area (2011), and continued to come here after moving further away. We are so sad that we are now too far (3+ hours) to continue coming here and now have to find a new vet. Doc is wonderful. Staff are friendly and helpful. Doc and staff always remember my dogs by name when we come in. Prices are VERY reasonable, and we are never pushed to do anything unnecessary for our pets. I always feel well taken care of and my dogs always seem comfortable. An FYI - when you call, it's likely you'll get their voice mail. Leave a message - they call you back every time. Also, FYI - I think word is out on how awesome they are, because they are always busy. It was easy to plan appointments ahead of time, but they are also wonderful about taking you without an appointment if there is an emergency situation (which we've had before.) I'll lead off by saying that the complaints about unanswered phone calls, limited hours, etc., are mostly true.  But once you're there, this is the best vet office in the area.  The vet is smart, experienced and honest.  Pets get excellent care, owners are given the respect of having their pet's health accurately explained to them and of being heard about their priorities.  There are no manipulative high-pressure sales tactics, and the prices are reasonable and transparent.For convenience, I've gone to some other vets in the area that are open at all hours and have multiple receptionists and a fancy waiting room, and while that's all nice (and sometimes the hours are necessary), those places charge literally ten times more and don't come close in level of care.In most circumstances, I think this is the vets office to go to. I've gone to other places and none stack up to here. This Veterinarian could possibly be the best ever. He's the Warren Buffett to veterinary medicine. I have brought over the past 24 years, 5 cats, 3 dogs, and he instantly knows what's wrong with the animals, he instantly knows how to treat/ manage a sickness. When you call your financial advisor you expect him to be a professional and know instantly when you ask for advise about a certain investment. That is how this doctor is. He is never stumped or never dumbfounded. He always will find a solution and won't just make something up and pass you on. I highly recommend him. Read Less

EXCELLENT! I've always wanted to take my dogs to a Vet that's sincere, loving toward animals, and just plain genuine! Dr. Tavory is truly the best veterinarian I've been to over the last 20 yrs! I lived in Lafayette Hill (now NM) and began bringing my dogs to Dr. Tavory several years ago. I have had a few good vets over a couple of decades but I was extremely pleased with Dr. Tavory and his staff. They are very kind, loving, helpful and professional. My cousin had told me about him and that his rates were very fair. I told a friend and she was also very pleased with the care he provided for her sick dog. Her dog is now doing very well. Read Less
