My family has been coming here since I was a child about 40 years! They squeeze you in, which in an emergency you can't beat that. My last fur baby was about 16 years old(a rescue) and instead of torturing her with millions of tests and guilting me into spending and spending, they told me she was up in years and nothing at this point would help her. I did not want her to suffer. They were caring and sensitive to my old girls needs. Now , I have another rescue and she has been going there for 8 years. It is always clean and they have a friendly staff. I actually live 40 minutes away now, but I choose to come here because I know she will be getting the best care ever. As far as pricing goes, check around overall pet care is not cheap( to the person the complained about pricing).

The girls are nice, but that's really about it. Waited 45 minutes until I finally saw the vet. He didn't even look at my dog's chart and told me the things I was concerned about only applied to dogs with allergies. I told him my dog has allergies and got medicine FROM THIS VET for them and he told me I should probably stop giving them to him then. Then I was practically pushed out the door before I could ask anything else.
My dog is constantly whining in pain and I told this to the vet. That was ignored. My dog was moving around so, instead of asking someone for help to keep him still, his attitude was "screw it, guess we can't look in his ears" and he just told me not to worry.
I don't understand how this place has high reviews. Maybe because everybody else who works there is so nice but the vet himself does not care. I won't be going back and, if you care about your dog and want your concerns to actually be heard and respected, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

My cats peaches and cream are patients there. Mary, Ariel, & Mark are always very helpful with our animals and their care. One night I remember Peaches got overstimulated when we played with him and we thought he had a seizure we called them after hours and Dr Mary was so helpful on calming us down and helping us in directions to keep on eye on him and bring him in if necessary!!
This family is so amazing!! They even helped that poor homeless cat (Katniss) out when a kid shot it with an arrow! Best care in the Pittsburgh area!!

Even though they did nothing for her dog they still charged me $45! For doing absolutely nothing but say he couldnt have his shots! Beware of their lies! Beware of their greed! I wish I could rate it lower then one star. They told me my dog needed all her teeth pulled and it would cost $400. They only pulled half of her teeth. I should have been given $200 back!... When I went in for her bladder stones the vet gave us the wrong dog food for her bladder stones. She had round stones they treated her for square or triangle stones. We didn't know that until a different vet told us a few days ago when we had her put to sleep. They also failed to tell us she had a kidney infection. This all stemed from her teeth not being pulled. In result it was too late for her. She ended up dying because of them. She suffered for 7 months and died because of them giving her the wrong food, not pulling all her teeth, and not treating her for the kidney infection.

We were in the process of moving our town cats from Pittsburgh to Southern Californina and the airline required a health certificate for each.I was able to secure an appointment at the same time/day for our cats. The office attendants were very helpful and prompt with checking in our cats and processing the required documentation. The examinations went well and we were in and out of the facility in under one hour. Extremely courteous and professional staff. We love Dr. Ariel!! We had a great first visit and will definitely be back. Our dog had a skin irritation and a rash and black skin developing. Dr. Ariel actually scraped Max's skin and reviewed it under a microscope - which is way more than our old vet did (comparing what Max looked like to pictures in 3 books from the 80's) and she even biopsied a bump on Max's leg right then and there just to be safe.
All of the staff was super nice. We didn't feel like we were taken advantage of price-wise like we have at other vets, and they didn't push any new meds on us. There are a lot of pets roaming around, we were greeted by a big cat when we sat down to fill out paperwork, and a golden retriever wandered in the room during our appointment (super friendly though), so just be aware of that.
I am happy we've found our home vet!!

My wife and I had been taking our cats to the same vet for 12 years until we moved. I'm so glad we found an excellent doctor nearby. Dr. Visco and her staff are amazing. I took my 12 year old tabby to have a newly developed cough looked at and he had his first total meltdown at a vet's office. At 25 pounds, he was a handful (like a tiger cub) but the staff was patient and considerate the entire time. After administering medication for his cough, Dr. Visco prepared and went over a dietary plan to get the big guy under control. We are beyond grateful to have found our new vet.

Our dog Harry was abused by a previous owner. He gets anxious around strangers and usually fights getting a shot or having his nails done. I regret I did not catch the name of the Veterinarian Doctor that treated him. She talked softly to him, patted him, felt his underbelly, legs etc. She did a complete exam, checked his teeth, drew blood, gave a shot and trimmed some of his nails. Harry usually goes nuts having several people to hold him. This examination was different - it went off without squirming, whimpering, barking, biting etc. I attribute all of this to the Veterinarian Doctor at Dravosburg Veterinary Hospital.

My family has been coming here since I was a child about 40 years! They squeeze you in, which in an emergency you can't beat that. My last fur baby was about 16 years old(a rescue) and instead of torturing her with millions of tests and guilting me into spending and spending, they told me she was up in years and nothing at this point would help her. I did not want her to suffer. They were caring and sensitive to my old girls needs. Now , I have another rescue and she has been going there for 8 years. It is always clean and they have a friendly staff. I actually live 40 minutes away now, but I choose to come here because I know she will be getting the best care ever. As far as pricing goes, check around overall pet care is not cheap( to the person the complained about pricing).

I still have this picture in my head of my baby laying in that alley dead this place save my other baby after he ate a bone! They are loving & caring for half the price but money don’t mean anything when u love your baby! Grrreat place please don’t go to Munhall vet all they want is money no love or caring goes on there! Great clinical staff. Them seem to really care about the animals and know what they are doing. Not so good office staff. Need to take a course in customer service.

I been taking my dog here for 8 yrs. all I can say is they are great and take good care of your animal. Also they don't make you feel rushed like other vets.

The staff was absolutely amazing!! I took my husky in for a nail trim because she has to be sedated, they took such amazing care of her. I definitely will be coming here with all my animals!!

The girls are nice, but that's really about it. Waited 45 minutes until I finally saw the vet. He didn't even look at my dog's chart and told me the things I was concerned about only applied to dogs with allergies. I told him my dog has allergies and got medicine FROM THIS VET for them and he told me I should probably stop giving them to him then. Then I was practically pushed out the door before I could ask anything else.
My dog is constantly whining in pain and I told this to the vet. That was ignored. My dog was moving around so, instead of asking someone for help to keep him still, his attitude was "screw it, guess we can't look in his ears" and he just told me not to worry.
I don't understand how this place has high reviews. Maybe because everybody else who works there is so nice but the vet himself does not care. I won't be going back and, if you care about your dog and want your concerns to actually be heard and respected, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

My cats peaches and cream are patients there. Mary, Ariel, & Mark are always very helpful with our animals and their care. One night I remember Peaches got overstimulated when we played with him and we thought he had a seizure we called them after hours and Dr Mary was so helpful on calming us down and helping us in directions to keep on eye on him and bring him in if necessary!!
This family is so amazing!! They even helped that poor homeless cat (Katniss) out when a kid shot it with an arrow! Best care in the Pittsburgh area!!

They sent me a letter in the mail saying he needed a few shots. When i took him to get his shots they said he couldn't have them that day. Even though they did nothing for her dog they still charged me $45! For doing absolutely nothing but say he couldnt have his shots! Beware of their lies! Beware of their greed! These people are nothing but money hungry theives.

I wish I could rate it lower then one star. They told me my dog needed all her teeth pulled and it would cost $400. They only pulled half of her teeth. I should have been given $200 back!... When I went in for her bladder stones the vet gave us the wrong dog food for her bladder stones. She had round stones they treated her for square or triangle stones. We didn't know that until a different vet told us a few days ago when we had her put to sleep. They also failed to tell us she had a kidney infection. This all stemed from her teeth not being pulled. In result it was too late for her. She ended up dying because of them. She suffered for 7 months and died because of them giving her the wrong food, not pulling all her teeth, and not treating her for the kidney infection.

This place was simply amazing! We were in the process of moving our town cats from Pittsburgh to Southern Californina and the airline required a health certificate for each.I was able to secure an appointment at the same time/day for our cats. The office attendants were very helpful and prompt with checking in our cats and processing the required documentation. The examinations went well and we were in and out of the facility in under one hour. Extremely courteous and professional staff. Thank you so much to Brenda, Jill, Julie and Dr. Mendlowitz for making this process easy and stress free for us!I HIGHLY recommend this business!!!

We love Dr. Ariel!! We had a great first visit and will definitely be back. Our dog had a skin irritation and a rash and black skin developing. Dr. Ariel actually scraped Max's skin and reviewed it under a microscope - which is way more than our old vet did (comparing what Max looked like to pictures in 3 books from the 80's) and she even biopsied a bump on Max's leg right then and there just to be safe.
All of the staff was super nice. We didn't feel like we were taken advantage of price-wise like we have at other vets, and they didn't push any new meds on us. There are a lot of pets roaming around, we were greeted by a big cat when we sat down to fill out paperwork, and a golden retriever wandered in the room during our appointment (super friendly though), so just be aware of that.
I am happy we've found our home vet!!

While living in Iowa we made a special trip to see the Doctors because they are the only ones we trust and still do from Washington, PA. My wife and I had been taking our cats to the same vet for 12 years until we moved. I'm so glad we found an excellent doctor nearby. Dr. Visco and her staff are amazing. I took my 12 year old tabby to have a newly developed cough looked at and he had his first total meltdown at a vet's office. At 25 pounds, he was a handful (like a tiger cub) but the staff was patient and considerate the entire time. After administering medication for his cough, Dr. Visco prepared and went over a dietary plan to get the big guy under control. We are beyond grateful to have found our new vet.

We went there for our sick kitty. They were very thorough and very kind. We asked a lot of questions and Dr A Mendlowitz was very helpful and patient with us. We had to have a biopsy performed and they did a fantastic job at a price that nobody could match. DR Mendlowitz also sent us a quick video when our kitty was up and eating. We will continue to go there.

Our dog Harry was abused by a previous owner. He gets anxious around strangers and usually fights getting a shot or having his nails done. I regret I did not catch the name of the Veterinarian Doctor that treated him. She talked softly to him, patted him, felt his underbelly, legs etc. She did a complete exam, checked his teeth, drew blood, gave a shot and trimmed some of his nails. Harry usually goes nuts having several people to hold him. This examination was different - it went off without squirming, whimpering, barking, biting etc. I attribute all of this to the Veterinarian Doctor at Dravosburg Veterinary Hospital.
