We have been to many many veterinarians over the years and dr. Cummings at Cummings Veterinary is hands-down the best we have ever found. This is a man that has a passion for caring for animals and knows his job better than anyone I've ever met. We have owned dogs in 4 states over about 30 years and dealt with a number of excellent vets and clinics. There is no doubt that Cummings is a great facility. The entire staff is well trained and pleasant; they also are obvious with their affection for your pet. The facility is immaculate and the 5 vets do an excellent job of keeping abreast with he states or your pet's wellness or treatment. While we generally choose the same vets for our dogs it is simply a matter of convenience for all involved. It is impossible to find a finer veterinary clinic. Read Less

The building itself is very nice. When I was waiting in the lobby it reminded me of a movie or something because it's very clean and white. There is elevator music playing and all the girls at the desk are wearing white scrubs and speak in soft tones. It seemed a little odd to me, but all the girls were very nice. The doctor was great and the staff were all attentive to my pet. I would only mention that it's quite expensive. I took my beagle in for an ear infection and I spent $340. That's a lot for a condition that isn't severe. I don't doubt that he was in good hands. I simply get the impression that their good care comes at quite a cost. Read Less

I never stopped being impressed with this place. The doctors and technicians are so compassionate when it comes to caring for my two cats. They are easily the cleanest vet I have ever been to. It looks more like a traditional doctor's office than a vet. They're a busy vet hospital but I have never once felt rushed by the doctors and it's always easy to get an appointment. Their hours are super convenient for people who work or have other responsibilities. I will never take my pets anywhere else. Read Less

I've lived in a few different states and been to many vets over the years, and Cummings is definitely among the best I've seen in every category. I've seen several of the doctors at this office with my cats. All have been extremely compassionate, thorough, and informative in helping me to understand what's going on.  I've definitely felt that these vets truly care about my animals, and at many times have really exceeded expectations. The offices are also clean and modern, and the staff is always helpful.I recently had to euthanize my sick, senior cat, and the vets at Cummings made sure the entire process was handled with compassion and care. My pets are all cats, but I also have friends who go to Cummings with their dogs and trust them implicitly. Read Less

Friendly, knowledgable, and non-judgmental staff. Very professional even when answering and discussing appointments on the phone. I was always very impressed with their service during routine appointments, but nothing topped their compassionate, and sympathetic demeanor when they helped my Sonny boy Boston Terrier cross the rainbow bridge. I have been going to see Cliff Cummings at Cummings Vet since 1993.  That is quite a few dogs and cats over that period of time.  Cliff changed practices a couple of times along the way as well.Cliff has helped us with rattlesnake bites and legs that were caught in foot traps on state game lands.Can't say enough good things about his staff, facilities and always keeping your pet's welfare first and foremost.  Cliff has a very well outfitted operation with laser therapies, dental, orthopedic and general surgical rooms.  the operation is kept impeccably clean and the hours of operation are also good with evenings and Saturday appointments available. Dr. Pascetta helped me with our cat in her last few days here with us. he was very compassionate, and tended to my dear cats needs. he made her last few days as comfortable as possible for her. and when the day came to put her to rest, he helped me and my cat through the process. i was a complete mess but Dr. Pascetta helped get me through it. thank you so much doctor. now we have a new kitten that Dr. Pascetta will be taking care of. looking forward to many more years with cummings vet hospital. thank you so much! Dr. Pascetta and Dr. Cummings both helped my cat with his dental extraction and mass removal (a cyst on his shoulder). Leonard is on a speedy path to recovery and its all thanks to their care. Before the surgery they provided me with an estimate that included a price range since some teeth were questionable. During the extraction it was determined that just a few needed to be pulled. I am confident that Cummings Veterinary Hospital will not do unnecessary costly work. His two teeth had been visibly unwell and I can now rest easy that they won't be bothering him any longer, I am very relieved to be able to rely on them to care for my cat! Read Less

We take our cat there to see dr. Daniels. You can see she really cares for the animals. She takes the time needed. She does not do a quick look over then move on to the next fur patient. Very good place to take your fur baby. Easy appointment makeing. Read Less

I'm writing to thank all of the staff at Cummings veterinary hospital, especially Dr. Daniel Pascetta DMV, and his assistant Julia Kistelny for assisting our cat Felix into the animal kingdom of Angel's. Your comfort room is beautiful. I was reassured that Dr. Pascetta DMV was as compassionate as Dr. Derr DMV and he was. He made a beautiful mold of Felix paw's. It's my way of knowing he is always going to be with us. I know he will assist me in my healing practice of animals and people. He was well loved by everyone who met him. We recently took our pup to get a routine teeth cleaning at Cummings. We dropped him off at 8am and was told they would call if anything additional had to be done (extractions, etc.) 6:30pm rolled around and we received a call that our dog was ready for pick up and that they had to extract 3 teeth! Typically I would think the hospital should let the owners know BEFORE extracting any teeth. When we got there, we expressed our concern to the receptionist Kathleen who was very understanding and apologetic. She suggested that we do not pay for the extractions; to only pay for the cleaning and that she would pass it off to management. We were assured we would be receiving a call the following day from the Hospital Manager to review what had happened and to confirm we should not have to pay for the extractions since we did not approve it. A week and a half went by and still no call from management. We followed up last night as we did not want to receive an outstanding bill months down the line with late fees. Finally, my husband received a call back today from Dave who insisted we pay for the tooth extractions and who made it out like we had a problem paying the bill. Over a week ago we were told not to pay it as the Secretary felt awful and explained that was not typically the way they work. We had no problem paying for the extractions from the get go but it was suggested to us that we should not pay since we were not notified and since we did not approve the extractions. We appreciate the staff taking good care of our dog but unfortunately the whole situation and how it played out left a very poor impression of Cummings. We have many family friends in the area that use Cummings and we will be sure to let them know about the unfortunate experience we had. Read Less

The team was very nice, especially Dorene and the young lady...wish I remembered her name very pretty. Dr. Mack was amazing, always keeping us updated and prepared. If expenses weren't am issue I'm sure they could of saved our beloved cat and even then they helped us as best they could. Local Bethlehem clinic was outrageously expensive. In the end we got a clay print and a patch of fur to remember him. The best we could do is give them a thank you card for their support. Highly recommend going to them for your pets needs. Read Less

The staff at Cummings Vet Hospital are like no other. They were extremely compassionate people and 100% professional. The type of care they not only gave to my mother and my family but to our beloved cat Romeo who unfortunately was too sick to save. It was so emotional and heartbreaking but we felt the support and compassion from the doctors and staff here. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has a pet they love and needs great professional care. We miss our Romeo but know he was left in good hands. Read Less

Our beagle Jello has been a patient of CVH ever since we brought her home from the shelter in February of 2013, and we just love the whole office. The scheduling staff and receptionists are so caring and helpful - we've always been able to get an appointment as soon as we needed one, and they all love to come out from behind the desk to say hi to Jello when we arrive! They even pretend not to be bothered by her excessive beagle barking :) For our last few visits we have seen Dr. Pascetta, and I truly hope he is with the practice for a long time - he is a very caring and incredibly knowledgeable professional, and we learned a ton in just our first visit with him! Just recently, our little scavenger got into the dirty laundry and had a blockage, which required surgery and a two-night stay at CVH. I was quite emotional as this was her first major issue requiring surgery, but Dr. Pascetta had me on the phone every time there was an update, and Jello did so well in his care that he was able to send her home on Christmas Eve to be with us for the holidays. We will always be grateful for that Christmas miracle! The vet techs are all outstanding as well - you can tell there is a lot of love for animals in that office!Read Less

CVH is a fantastic. Dr. Derr saved our Boxer over the winter after she ate a scarf. We are now looking for a place to board the same Boxer for two nights at the end of this week. Does anyone have any recommendations? Or does anyone do this in their home? Read Less
