Condescending, argumentative, uncaring, zero empathy. Apparently, based on conversations with certain local people they've caused numerous problems with others and are nuts. They do NOT care about your pet. Initially I thought they did care until the ONE time I was upset. Instead of showing understanding and empathy, they were unprofessional, condescending and argumentative making it quite obvious my sick dog was not a priority to them and drama was. My dog was the last thing they cared about and they were more interested in the drama they caused. Very rude and unprofessional. Your pet will NOT be their priority. Sadly, I was told by a few people when I moved to the area last yr not to take my dog there and I should have listened. After paying almost $2000 which my dog was worth it, this is how my dog and I were treated. All of this could have been prevented if they put animals first and were professional. There are so many other genuinely caring vets within a 20 mile radius. Do NOT go to Easton Animal Hospital just because they are close. I have never in my life experienced this type of treatment and the lack thereof for my dog. I'm still dumbfounded Read Less

We're new to area and had to find a new- well, everything! So grateful to have found our new vet! Dr. Nankman is awesome! She listens, is thorough and truly cares about our fur babies!!! (And they LOVE her!) Now, onto the front desk staff and assistants- so wonderful! We had an emergency (our very 1st visit) and they squeezed me in that day! They are all so lovely to deal with...when I was leaving, I thanked them and told them how much I appreciated them squeezing us in and that the kind voice on the other end of the phone meant so much to me, they said, that's why we're here!  I now have a wonderful new vet that made us all feel right at home, the moment we arrived! I had a very negative experience taking my dog in for an annual check-up and for routine vaccinations. In general, I felt that Dr. Titcher was inexperienced and her manner as a doctor was insecure and overly talkative. After waiting over an hour to complete the check-up, I was asked to return for a Lyme vaccine. When I returned for that vaccine, I was told there would be one last visit to complete the vaccines. Each time I was charged for administering the half dose vaccines (extra on the first return as Dr. Titcher insisted my dog needed to be seen by her - even though she just completed a full exam 3 weeks prior). I have checked now several vets in the area and no other vet charges a fee for administering the shot when the vaccine is broken up. I felt this was both unreasonable, and the way it was handled very inappropriate and hostile. I would not return again. Read Less

Worst animal hospital out there. They are very unorganized. These people will take good care of you and your pet. I have had dogs and cats and all have been there for check ups and treatment. My last experience was sad as my cat had a stroke and needed to be layed to rest, they were extremely accommodating, understanding of our situation and allowed us to grieve in peace for as long as we needed. There was a special room in the back that allowed us the time, space and privacy we needed. After all was done, about a week later we got a letter in the mail, it was a card sharing their condolences, it's was a very nice gesture. Read Less

We had made a scheduled appointment for our dog to a requested stool sample drop-off and to have his ears checked as to believed infection to be seen at the request of a vet in their facility. Showing for appointment with our dog, we were told "sorry, the vet cannot accept as we are running late at this time: could we re-schedule later in the afternoon or another date"? No courtesy call as SOMEONE AT FRONT DESK "forgot to inform" for a 11:45 AM appointment with Vets running behind to a half hour drive one way? Accept the stool sample, but what of the ears and set appointment made? Let me tell "RECEPTIONIST BEGINNING WITH L" and her "office boss" this is no way to run a business in any type of medicine to turn people or animals away to illness at any regard WITH A SET APPOINTMENT only to offer "WE MUST RE-SCHEDULE AND PUT YOU OFF"? You have two vets in that clinic with MANY other technicians standing around THEN admitting "we should have called, but too busy"? Admitted staffing problem to an appointment agreed or to courtesy call to inform not received: YES! Absolutely no professionalism.. Hopefully, Easton Animal Hospital will learn from their business mistakes as this is NOT the first time! Our pet? Taken in right away at another vet clinic seen by a vet without appointment for the same price of what we are charged at Easton Animal Hospital! Read Less

I would never step a toe with any pet in Easton Animal Hospital. I had a horrible experience with this vet. My cat was severely lathargic and stopped eating. When I brought my cat in they told me that he would need X-rays and blood tests. While in the waiting room. The vets assistant came out and told me that my cat was hissing and fighting the vet, so they would need to put him asleep so they could take the X-rays. I agreed because I was under distress. But now realize that it was a big mistake. ( A RESPONSIBLE VET HAS A TYPE OF COAT (WHICH COST ABOUT A 100 BUCKS) Which subdues that cat while they take Xrays. After over $300.00 in vet fees. The vet told me that my cat had flees and that is why he was ill. I ask them if they had examined his teeth. They told me yes. Before I paid the bill the vet tech tried a big sale with me. She tried to sale me a year supply of Flea medicine which was very expensive. I refused and agreed to pay for one month. However the tech did not quit and kept telling me I would save money with a year supply. I WAS APPALLED. I had NEVER been in a vets office where the main goal was to squeeze every penny out of there customers Including RISKING A ANIMALS LIFE. By putting them down for simple Xrays so they could charge you a extra 150.00 dollars in fees. When almost all responsible vets OWN special subdue coats. Avoiding putting a animal downAfter I got my cat back the he was no better. In fact he was worse due to them putting him down. He is a old cat and only should of been put down for major surgery. Not to take Xrays. The next day I rushed him to another reputable vet in New Jersey. It turned out that my cat had extremely high temperature and a absess with one of his teeth. The doctor presribed medicine (Which the other unethical vet did not). My vet also found no sign of fleas!! This VET MAIN INTEREST IS PROFIT Read Less

They are very supportive and even sent a sympathy card afterwords signed by the office staff.  You don't get this level of concern from a place that doesn't see your pet as part of the family. For our cat on medications, they had extra in stock and were sure to call us to let it know it was available, so we didn't need to reorder by mail.Overall, they have been convenient for us and wonderful to our pets.  They've gone out of their way to recognize the needs of our pets and we're very grateful to have them close to home! I can't say enough wonderful things about Easton Animal Hospital. Amazing Veterinarians and staff. Their compassion and quality of care is exceptional! They are professional yet personal and make you feel welcome and supported regardless of the situation. When it came time to make one of the toughest decision to put my sweet Roxie to sleep Dr. Tichner made a house call to assess her condition and put her to rest in the comfort of her own home. I then adopted Ruby and Dunkin both had health conditions that were immediately addressed and they took the time to educate me on each condition. I recently became a foster parent to a senior little girl, Charisma, who had a horrible mammary mass requiring immediate surgery. Dr. Tichner jumped into action and made arrangements for an emergency surgery. They made arrangements with Zani's Furry Friends rescue who is supporting Charisma in her foster with us and where able to assist with the cost of the overall surgery. I can't thank everyone at Easton Animal Hospital enough. I know my my pups are in great hands with them. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE.  THEY NEARLY KILLED MY DOG LUCY.  If i could give less than 1 star I would.my dog Lucy was brought in to Easton Animal Hospital for an emergency visit, as she had vomited and gone to the bathroom on our home several times while we were out of the house. The vet went over Lucy and took an x-ray and determined that she had bladder stones...something that she's had issues with before and had surgery for about two years ago. The vet said that the stones had come back...something we had expected at some point, so we weren't surprised, although the symptoms were much different this time. They sent Lucy home with some medication, but by the next morning she was feeling much worse and not eating at all. My wife took her back to Easton Animal Hospital where they said the surgery to remove the stones was necessary. Of course we gave them the go-ahead as we didn't want to see our dog suffering. They gave us a low estimate and a high estimate, with the understanding that they're not to exceed the high estimate without prior authorization. During the surgery, the vet called my wife and told her that Lucy had pancreatitis. She said nothing of additional charges as a result. When my wife went to pick Lucy up the next day, the bill was over $500 more! The vet, who was not in at the time got on the phone and was annoyed that she had to have the discussion, and told my wife that she should have "inferred from the diagnosis that it would cost more." First of all, they did not get any authorization, and secondly, a diagnosis is very far from an estimate. We reluctantly paid, but the front desk people refused to discharge Lucy with any medication out of spite, although they did give us written prescriptions to have filled at a local pharmacy. This took several hours with our dog in awful pain. How can a veterinarian who is in the business of helping animals do something so inhumane as withholding medication? Lucy spent the entire night crying in pain, and by the next morning was not eating and her eyes looked glassy. She was rushed to a 24 hour emergency facility where they admitted her immediately and said she had a severe case of pancreatitis that was exacerbated by the surgery, and wasn't being treated properly to begin with. She was also going into shock from the terrible pain. Lucy spent the next three days under round-the-clock care on IV antibiotics and fluids, and finally came home in much better condition, another $3,000 later. The fact that Easton Animal Hospital misdiagnosed her initial ailment, performed unnecessary surgery and didn't treat the pancreatitis properly was a huge comedy of errors. They only had a vet tech call and check on her twice the first day, and not an actual doctor! I kept telling them that she wasn't eating and was in horrible pain and they told me that this was normal! If we didn't act and take her somewhere else, she most definitely would have died. I understand mistakes can happen, but this was completely avoidable. Had the doctor done the proper blood work and diagnosed her with pancreatitis before performing surgery, we might not have had to go through this. When I called to tell them what had happened, they were very insincere about feeling bad, and are waiting for the owners who are on vacation to come back before they will review and possibly make some type of concession.  If they're responsible business owners they'll pick up their phone and call me from wherever they are to apologize and attempt to make a bad situation right. I am actually quite perplexed over my recent experience with this facility..My 4 year old cat had been vomiting, not eating or drinking, and very lethargic for nearly 3 days. My husband and I took him to Easton Animal Hospital (first-time there) and it turned out he had a string wrapped around his tongue that potentially went into his stomach. Long story short, we were not able to come up with the $ it would cost for a surgery to cut him open to "see where it is" so they sent us away with the string still attached to my cat's tongue!!We had made it clear that our cat had not eaten or drank in days, but they didn't even seem to care about that- they never even checked to see if he was dehydrated (which after bringing him to another facility, it turned out he was extremely dehydrated and req'd immediate IV hydration) and basically said if we come up with the cash, we can come back. !?!? My cat was literally starving to death and extremely dehydrated, and they sent us home without doing anything but looking at his mouth. I was stunned. We asked what we were supposed to do with the cat at home.. if we should attempt to detach the string ourselves (which they absolutely refused to even attempt) and they said we probably shouldn't. Okay...then should we wait around while he starves to death or dies of dehydration until we can come up your money... Pretty much that's what they expected. We took him to a Vet down the road in Pburg, they were wonderful, helpful and completely worked with us with the money situation. They would not let our cat leave because they knew how dire his circumstance was. And- this place gave us an estimate $500- $900 LESS THAN EASTON. Incredible.Try out Harmony Animal Hospital before going here. These people obviously care more about getting money than they do caring for an animal that needs help. Read Less

I've had several emergencies over the years during the times the Hospital was closed and had to travel 45 mins or longer to get treatment for my animals.  I nearly lost my Savannah; but thanks to Valley Central Animal Hospital...I was able to get her there in time....and she is still with me today. To saddened... I am truly sorry for your loss... I am not sure what happened as we have taken all our pets there (4 cats and our dog) for many many years. Last week,we lost our own beloved dog of 15 years. The team at Easton Animal Hospital, with Dr. Craig as our vet, was caring and compassionate, and couldn't have helped us get thru such a sad time any better than they did. They have always treated our pets as one of our family, with great enderness and kindness. We had our dog cremated as well - he weighed 98 pounds when he passed away. The box you were provided is standard for everyone, which is also what we received. Anyone who uses their crematorium has an option to select some other urn, or special ""casket"" , after you receive their remains. Also, you would never be allowed to attend the cremation, as I believe it is not permissable by law. The paper you probably signed, as we did, is the release that allows them to complete the cremation, and whether it is single - meaning only your pet - or group - meaning more than one pet at once. It did not mean group as in you could attend. They explained all of this to us prior to anything taking place. My heart goes out to you truly, as I know first hand, recently , how difficult this can be. For us, the team there will continue to tend to all our animals as long as we are around to own them. We've just ""saved"" another dog who needed a good home and lots of TLC, and he has an appointment with them next week to be checked. I know they will continue to provide the same great care and service to our newest family member. We'll never go anywhere else. Kudos to the team at Easton Animal Hospital. We would recommend them to everyone. The Wise's Read Less

I MOVED TO THE EASTON PA AREA IN JULY 2010. I STARTED BRINGING MY 4 DOGS TO EASTON ANIMAL HOSPITAL BECAUSE IT WAS VERY CLOSE TO MY HOUSE. MY 5 YEAR OLD DOG WAS BEING TREATED BY THEM. SHE DIED IN MY ARMS ON DECEMBER 16TH. I FEEL SHE WAS MISS DIAGNOSED. I HAD HER CREMATED THERE. THEY GAVE ME HER ASHES BACK IN AN UGLY WHITE TIN BOX LIKE SHE WAS A PIECE OF GARBAGE. I PURCHASED AN URN TO PUT HER REMAINS IN AND THE ASHES DID NOT FIT IN THE URN. I SPOKE WITH GLENN AT THE FACILITY REGARDING THE PROBLEM. HE SAID I COULD DROP OFF THE REMAINS AND HE WOULD RECTIFY THIS PROBLEM. I TOLD HIM I WANTED TO BE PRESENT WHEN HE DID THIS. I DID SIGN A PAPER THAT SAID I COULD BE PRESENT FOR THE CREMATION. HE TOLD ME I COULD NOT BE THERE BECAUSE I WAS TO UPSET. I WAS NOT UPSET- I WAS MAD!! HE WAS VERY NASTY ON THE PHONE AND TOLD ME TO EITHER DROP THE ASHES OFF OR NOT. I FOUND A NICE CREMATORY THAT HELPED ME RECTIFY THIS SITUATION AND THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME ANYTHING. MY NEIGHBOR ALSO TOLD ME HE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THIS FACILITY. I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW MY STORY ABOUT EASTON ANIMAL HOSPITAL. AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. Read Less

This animal hospital has been the caregiver for our dog, Princess since we rescued her in 2007. She's gone through a lot with them and we've always been given all the time and attention and excellent care she's needed. The other day, they really showed their colors when my sister-in-law called from work to ask if we could check up on her kitty who was sneezing up blood that morning. She felt awful that it happened to be a day on which she couldn't call off, and we went to pick up Socks and took her there. She was treated with excellent care, with compassion and they really worked well with us given the fact that we didn't have a lot of history on her. Socks' mommy will bring her back as her previous vet was MUCH less than caring. Socks' outcome would have been much worse if she had taken her to her previous vet. All the people who work at Easton Animal Hospital should be given KUDOS for every thing they do every day. Read Less

I have been going to Easton Animal Hospital for over 30years. I have always found the staff to be very knowledgeable. I have no problem recommending this Vet to anyone. I called on a Friday night at 4:50 that my dog had jumped wrong and could not walk on her leg; they told me to immediately bring her over and everything was resolved. Three years ago, I had a 14 year old dog, who tore her ACL, the Doctor took the time to call me personally and told me what the pros and cons were to having her have surgery, he spent at least 45 minutes on the phone with me to make sure I knew everything regarding her case, a few months later she went into cardiac arrest late on a Saturday night. After taking her to the ER in Allentown she was moved back to Easton Animal Hospital. The Doctor's not Techs, or receptionists were on the phone with me regarding her health. They even made housecalls.... And when the time came a few days later after doing everything we could for her. They came to the house to put her to sleep. I found that service to be the best because she hated going to the vet, and at least she didn't have to have that anxiety in her condition and at that time. It was more peaceful. Over the years I have had 6 dogs that were patients there, and I have always found the staff to be caring. I can't pick a favorite Doctor, because I have found them all to be outstanding. Read Less

I had to do an extremely difficult thing today and euthanize my 18 year old cat, Mozart, He had renal failure and of course his old age. The vet was extremely kind and I really appreciated the fact that she did not immediately want to do a bunch of expensive, invasive tests on him. The techs arranged some time for me to be alone with him and, although I did not want to watch them actually give him the needle, they told me what was happening. They even arranged for someone to come into the room in order for me to pay the bill without having to go into the busy waiting room. It was so hard to say goodbye to Mozart, my cat, after 18 years of having him with me, but they made is as painless as possible. I can't recommend them highly enough. Read Less

I just want to say this is the best vet I have ever gone to, they make my Rottie Rio feel like she is a part of their family. As soon as she enters the office she is greeted by the staff, the doctors the techs they all love her and know her by name. Some people may be a little intimidated by my 100 pound Rottie (yes Connie I said 100 pounds LOL) but everyone there goes out of there way to see her. I recently rescued a Mountain Cur puppy named Rylie, didn't know much about her shot history, they took there time to make sure every shot she needed was done at the appropriate time Dr. Tishner (sorry if I spelled it wrong) has gone out of her way to take good care of my Rylie girl!!! I highly recommend Easton Animal Hospital and wouldn't go anywhere else for the care of my furry familyRead Less

Money FactoryWe went there for a long time until they killed my Basset Hound by giving her too much lasiks. She went in for a cough, nothing else wrong, very healthy. We also wanted her nails clipped. After an entire morning at the vet, they called and said they were keeping her because she was in congestive heart failure. (She was running and playing the same morning in our yard) They gave her lasiks and she died. Then they charged me $700.00 for the visit. They included the nail clip in the bill. THEY ARE DOG MURDERERS. THEY EVEN DO ON SITE CREMATION SO THEY CAN MAKE MONEY ON THAT AND CUT OUT THE MIDDLE MAN. EASTON ANIMAL HOSPITAL IS A MONEY FACTORY!!! Read Less

Read Less
