We love the veterinarians and staff at Animal Ark Per Hospital/Animal Kingdom Pet Hospital. Our Pomeranian, Casper, was seen there many times. He was seen for a collapsed trachea and was in critical condition. Dr. Jung and his staff saved his life multiple times. I can never thank them enough. Casper had laser surgery done by Dr. Jung too. We were very pleased with the result of the laser surgery. Our mini doxie, Annie, was seen there too. We finally know what to feed her and she is now at a healthy weight for her size. We know how to avoid all her other allergy triggers as well. Annie was itching constantly and her ears were always red and inflamed. Now we know how to keep her happy healthy. The staff are wonderful! We felt the vet truly cared about our cat. She even went the extra mile to do additional research about our cat's medical issue. The professionalism and compassion from the staff makes us feel welcome with each visit. It's a little pricey compared to other clinics, but definitely worth it! Read Less

The staff and Doctors are very wonderful my pets and I have been using them for 16+years. I've never had a problem getting an appointment in a timely fashion and they get you in and out quickly. My dogs have never had a problem with return visits so I'd say they like it as well. Read Less

My Layla was bite and they were wonderful and knowledgeable about leaving the wound open and healing it that way! It was the correct path and she is happy and healthy today! They always know how to work with her being a Great Dane and having confined space issues. Read Less

Dr. Ramey is the only reason I've ever gone to this location. He's always been wonderful. However the staff was so rude to me today and when I talked to the manager, she showed minimal concern and only explained to me why I was asked to wait outside (instead of In the waiting area) with my barking puppy. My experience here was mixed. The people that work here are very nice, but I had an appointment for my two male cats to be fixed and they were going to charge us more than $600 and an over night stay. A woman we know recommended AAA clinic and we got both cats done for $100 in and out same day. So if you have bills to pay I would recommend AAA. Read Less

While visiting Erie, our 15-yo dog began to fail. The staff quickly found a available appointment and treated us with compassion, especially when it became clear that nothing more could be done. They put a rush on his cremation so that he could return home with us. The vet also sent a lovely sympathy card and note. Read Less

STAY AWAY! I am truely disappointed in the care I received at Animal Ark (both locations). The staff is rude and the vetenarians misdiagnosed my dog and recommended euthanizing my pet after 8 days of mistreating her. Their prices of service are extremely high and I feel that they "nickeled and dimed" my distraught family for over $2500. Multiple people I know have had the same experiences. I thankfully went for a second opinion and the new Vetenerian stated that my dog was misdiagnosed, after a short procedure my dog has lived and is healthy. Read Less

If there were a 3.5, I'd give that. There's a mixed bag here. The bad is that they include a lot more margin than some places and a lot of that has to do with the location (access to higher income pet owners). The actual vets onsite are quite good and very knowledgeable and professional. Some of the staff, however, not so much. Doesn't mean all of them, just some. Like any business, they will try to get you to come in more often or have you take more tests than is necessary. My advice is to look up the tests they recommend and come back if you think you need them. Overall, they aren't bad and conveniently located. Read Less

I have been going to Animal Kingdom since they opened. I currently have 3 dogs and a cat. One dog was a rescue with a broken pelvis and Dr. Ramey was great with him, he is now now 10 years old and going strong. I take my pets in for regular wellness visits, vaccines and teeth cleanings and the prices are comparable to everyone else in town. My feeling is, you get what you pay for. Read Less

I can say on a positive note the staff is VERY friendly and do really care for your animals. I can add they care as much about your wallet. I was told my cat was FILLED w/ cancer and would live 2-3 days tops, I requested an antibiotic for the weekend and it ended up being pnemonia. Over a yr later he is very healthy and in great condition (and cancer free-still). I then had my 7 mo. old puppy go there for shots and they "found 4 stones in her bladder" and between that and a spay it was going to run $1500-$2000! We decided to get a second and third opinion a month later-there are 0 stones. Let me mention after I called for her records to take to another vet they asked if I was getting a second opinion, a diff. vet called me back w/i 15 mins to tell me "well it might not be stones after all and they just wanted to let me know before we went for another opinion."
