Michelle is awesome she answered all my questions on the phone she was patient with me and she made me feel like she really wanted me to just come in and see what she was talking about and it did not disappoint they showed me around the facility and made me feel comfortable about where Lo'Rider would be living for a week they not only took care of our beloved Lo'Rider they gave him a bath they clipped his nails and he was still happy when I went to visit him and he was still happy when we picked him up... I can tell he was happy and they had no problems giving me daily updates while we were on our spring vacation this year... This place is hands down amazing! When I was pet sitting for one of their clients and the dog got sick they let me bring him in right away even though we couldn't get ahold of the owners who were in Europe. They cared for him no questions asked! The doctors here truly care about your pets, not how you are going to pay, and that is a sign of true compassionate care for our pets! Needless to say, with the help of the staff at Wintergreen, the dog I was pet sitting got through his sickness with flying colors. I would recommend this hospital 1,000 times over! Read Less

We switched over to the Wintergreen office after moving to the eastside. We love this office... the staff is so friendly and Dr Amanda is amazing! They also do kenneling and Michelle who runs the kennels treats your dog as her own! I would not take my dogs anywhere else... both of our dogs are pit mixes and in our experience many offices/groomers treat our dogs with apprehensions but this office made us feel so at ease about their breed! I have had animals all my life (dogs, cats, goats, horses...) and this clinic has the absolute best vets and staff I have ever had the pleasure of having to care for my animals health. I feel like they really hear what I am saying and patiently answer all my questions, never making me feel rushed. I had to have my Zoe, who was 15 euthanized last year. Dr. Amanda and the staff were wonderful, giving me all the time I needed to make the decision and say goodbye to my long time friend and companion. This may be a bit long...We found them when we needed to board our late dog Guido while we went on a trip. His previous vet labeled him as "aggressive" and he had to be sedated for all visits. We let them know, but after his stay they said he was a perfect gentleman the whole time. They also raised concerns about his glaucoma, which his vet at the time had ignored over the years while we continued to ask him about it. We decided to use them with our next puppy, who it turns out had sever food allergies. Dr. Amanda was amazing with us during our many visits. The visits were fairly priced, and the goal on their end and ours was always to get him to a place where he would be able to look and feel healthy. We now have a new addition who goes here. They treat our animals like family. They seem to want the best for our pets, and I feel we have a relationship with the people in the office. At our previous vet, the only time I felt them behave warmly with our animals when the unfortunate visit where a pet had to be put down. I highly recommend this establishment in terms of pricing, staff ability, and general atmosphere. Thank you to everyone in your office!!!Read Less

My 8 month old puppy had a broken leg, and Wintergreen treated him like their own and made him feel at home. He had to get it amputated, and they let my boyfriend and I come see him every day, even on a day they were closed. They made Capone feel very comfortable and even offered us free socializing, to try and help Capone get over his fear of going to the vet. Dr. Lutz and his staff are amazing people. They really know how to treat people and take care of their pets when things are tough. They defiantly go above and beyond.. I found an infection growing in the lower part of my kitten so I called them as soon as they opened, and they had me come in within the hour. After a few tests and an examination, they told me she needed surgery and the best surgery would be to get her fixed. They scheduled the surgery also within an hour. They called me when the surgery was complete and gave me an update on how she was doing. I was super pleased! Wintergreen is amazing!!!! The best staff I have ever met! Everyone is very caring and loving of all the animals that come in. I have recommended them to other people and they have had the same experience. Dr. Amanda is great and now that I have moved out of the area, I still travel for her to see my cat. If I could give this place more stars I would! When I was looking for a safe place to take my pets for care I called every vet around the area asking questions. Most places were rude and short, like they didn't have the time for me. Not the kinda people I want to take care of my pets. I called wintergreen and they were so kind and helpful. When they didn't know something, the went and asked the vet. They always have time for you. Even if you just walk in they try their best to fit you in and they take excellent care of any pet you have. I even had my bunny neutered there. I refuse to go anywhere else now. Their prices might be slightly higher, but they go out of their way to make sure your pet, and you are happy as possible. I recommend everyone I know to switch to this vet. Read Less

I was treated so good, actually, treated like family and the more time I spent there, I figured out very fast that Dr. John Lutz and his Staff really care about people and their pets. A lot of places care more about money then they do about the Pets and that is not the case at Wintergreen. I was never made to feel like I was in the way or bothering them. My Pug passed away and I was still shown how much they care and now I have another Pug and she will only be seen by Wintergreen! I also think that it is really Great that there are pets wondering around for everyone to see and play with. It really helps take your mind off of other things while you are waiting.
