We have been taking our pets to this clinic for 20 years, but we will not be returning because of the way we were treated yesterday by the doctor. Our beloved kitty suffered from kidney failure, dementia, incontinence, and was very uncomfortable from joint pain. She was 19 years old. We made the difficult decision to end her life with dignity because she was suffering. The nurse was very kind when we discussed the reasons for our decision, but the doctor didn't even address us in full sentences ("Eating? Drinking?") and examined her for 5 minutes. Even though she did perk up a bit when the doctor was in the room, our kitty was clearly underweight and suffering. The vet said "Well, she doesn't look done to me! Let's try some pain meds to see if she perks up." She was 19 years old - pain meds would have only delayed the inevitable. It was time to make the right decision for our cat, and it would have been appreciated if the doctor respected our wishes. When I paid the bill, I realized that she charged us an exam fee for the 5 minutes that she treated us and our decision with disrespect. It really seemed to us that she wanted to prolong our kitty's life so we would have to come back and pay another exam fee when she didn't improved. Her mind is clearly on the money and we will not bring another pet to suffer at her hand. If I could rate this doctor lower than one star, I would. We really liked the previous vet at this clinic, and the current doctor is a joke in comparison to him. Read Less
