When the appointments start, owners give detailed reports about behavior changes, appetite and energy level fluctuations, sleep cycles, and new environmental exposures. Veterinarians perform a comprehensive examination of the pet's oral health, weight records, hydration status, joint mobility, and vital signs. Look at the previous records of visits to make questions and anticipate possible problems. Chronic care consultation, dental scaling, nutrition planning, and diagnostic labs are additional core services. Medical visits for arthritis, dermatological exams for allergies, and tick prevention because of outdoor activities are more frequent at certain periods of the year. Plans align with pet lifestyles as they adjust according to changing risk factors. After each appointment, the owners receive a detailed packet and an online portal login to access the visit log, prescriptions, food monitoring data, and upcoming care milestones. There are adjustable options available for multi-pet households and for pets with mobility limitations due to age. Return plans might include staggered rechecks, at-home symptom logs, and seasonal reminders. Animal Medical Clinic assists in turning your pet’s wellness into an achievable reality. The method utilized in the city and neighboring parts of Pennsylvania to establish trust with pet owners as long as their pets grow. They are committed to preventing cancer, early detection, and timely treatment. Clients value the transparency, education, and support they receive. I have been coming to Animal Medical Clinic for many years (since 2006) and have had nothing but great experiences. The late Dr. Rawston and Dr. Gorby have treated all of my pets with the greatest of attention and care! Their staff members have always been courteous and kind regardless of how large or small our problem was. I now work for Dr. Gorby and see on a daily basis how much she cares her patients. This isn't an easy business to be in, because of how much we all come to care for our client's pets, and when they are sick it also tears on our hearts. Dr. Gorby experiences this more than anyone else... she truly cares about each and every animal. Read Less

We have been taking our pets to this clinic for 20 years, but we will not be returning because of the way we were treated yesterday by the doctor. Our beloved kitty suffered from kidney failure, dementia, incontinence, and was very uncomfortable from joint pain. She was 19 years old. We made the difficult decision to end her life with dignity because she was suffering. The nurse was very kind when we discussed the reasons for our decision, but the doctor didn't even address us in full sentences ("Eating? Drinking?") and examined her for 5 minutes. Even though she did perk up a bit when the doctor was in the room, our kitty was clearly underweight and suffering. The vet said "Well, she doesn't look done to me! Let's try some pain meds to see if she perks up." She was 19 years old - pain meds would have only delayed the inevitable. It was time to make the right decision for our cat, and it would have been appreciated if the doctor respected our wishes. When I paid the bill, I realized that she charged us an exam fee for the 5 minutes that she treated us and our decision with disrespect. It really seemed to us that she wanted to prolong our kitty's life so we would have to come back and pay another exam fee when she didn't improved. Her mind is clearly on the money and we will not bring another pet to suffer at her hand. If I could rate this doctor lower than one star, I would. We really liked the previous vet at this clinic, and the current doctor is a joke in comparison to him. Read Less
