This place takes great care of dogs. I have a 15 year old golden reteiver and if you couldn't tell she's pretty old. This hospital is always helping my dog out and when there is something off they always look into it. The staff love dogs just as much as an owner so they will take great care of you dog. The staff are super nice. Now the only reason why this doesnt get 5 stars is becuase they are a little expensive, however, if you love your animal. Its worth it. Read Less

I had a really nice experience bringing my dog, Bentley, here to get checked for an intensive itch all over his skin. The doctors were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. She was right on point with figuring out what was the matter with Bentley. And the medicine that the doctor recommended cured it right up. The environment is very cozy and clean. I have been taking my pets to Dr. Joe since 1990. We also see Dr. Riddle frequently. They have always been very accommodating and treated our pets very well. As for the cost, well I haven't done much comparison shopping between vets but I don't think they are the cheapest or the most expensive. I think with any doctor you get what you pay for. They will offer you every possible treatment and diagnostic tool available and give you a quote. Some are expensive. It is up to you to determine if you want to take advantage of those services or not and incur the costs or not. As for the comment below about the dog with the bladder infection - doing a urinalysis is standard protocol even for humans. Doctors will often prescribe a general antibiotic for immediate treatment but need to change it if the results of the tests show there is a better more targeted antibiotic available. I have been very happy with the care for my dogs. Our dogs had some pretty unique health challenges and they were able to help keep them healthy. The doctors always spend as much time as I need to answer any questions we have. Exams are thorough. The front office staff is always friendly and scheduling an appointment is easy. They are horrible. The owners are so money hungry and all they care about it what they can stick you for. I took my dog in for a bladder infection, her first, they took a sample and gave me antibiotics. I was told that the sample would only be used if necessary and that I would not be charged an additional fee, I specifically inquired about this. Three days later I got a call from one of the senior vets, who had NEVER seen my dog, who told me that they had to test the sample they took. When I questioned why he said "So we know what antibiotic to give her." I informed him she was already on an antibiotic and seemed fine. He sounded confused and they said something about it being a broad spectrum and they should be sure she doesn't need a more specific one. I questioned why I paid for a drug that may not be helping, but seemed to be doing fine, and he just stammered. Remembering what the visiting vet and the tech had told me about no additional charge, I said go ahead. At no time did the vet on the phone tell me about additional cost. Then a week later I got a bill for more than the original visit, $125! When I called to complain I was told I would not be charged if I did not come back. NO PROBLEM! WHAT A RIP OFF! Read Less
