Thank you Dr. Morgan for getting Luna back to her normal self. We are still trying to get that urine sample for you. Luna is feeling much better since her visit with you. We are monitoring her food intake. We measured out 3/4 of a cup of food and give her a little at time along with a bowl of water.
We can't thank Dr. Morgan and his staff enough for taking Luna in right away for an office visit. He was very gentle getting to know Luna before getting her out of the carrier. He explained each expense with my daughter and went over with her the reason for each test. When the blood work came back Dr. Morgan explained everything to my daughter and showed her the x-ray where Luna had eight balls of backed up feces in her intestines. She was one constipated cat.
When we picked Luna up on Friday my daughter was very relieved that Luna wasn't a diabetic cat since the glucose reading was a little high. Dr. Morgan explained that it was high due to her constipation. Luna is on a special cat food now for her liver function and it'll be easier to digest.
Dr. Morgan and his staff not only showed compassion towards Luna but also to my daughter. Luna means everything to her. Luna goes in for a checkup in a month. We will keep you updated on her results.

We traveled here from northern virginia for our son's baseball tournament. We love to camp so we took advantage of camping nearby. We travel with our beautiful Yorkie and for the past few days she was...
We traveled here from northern virginia for our son's baseball tournament. We love to camp so we took advantage of camping nearby. We travel with our beautiful Yorkie and for the past few days she was unable to hold down any food she ate. This was alarming to us so we decided to locate a veterinary clinic. We called around and came across Altmeyer clinic. The receptionist at this vet clinic was so friendly we decided to book an appointment with them. We literally did not know what to expect but the staff was so kind, especially Dr. Rodkey. This wonderful doctor was caring and patient. Come to find out our dog was very sick with pancreatic issues requiring an overnight stay. After admitting our dog for the overnight stay we recieved a phone call from Dr. Rodkey with an update on how she was doing. I am happy to announce that our baby dog is recovering well and we attribute this to Alrmeyer vet clinic. We highly recommend this clinic, my husband even commented that we may make the 5 hour trip back since our our dog recieved such great care.

We traveled here from northern virginia for our son's baseball tournament. We love to camp so we took advantage of camping nearby. I brought my hunting dog Duke in for routine vaccinations and saw Dr. Rodkey. She gave Duke an exam because she noticed his gait was off. During the exam she discovered a small tear in his paw that was infected. She immediately set about to remedy the situation. Duke had to miss some workouts but if the injury had went untreated he may have been permanently out of service. I highly recommend Dr. Rodkey.

Our vet was lacking probably due to age. We heard about Dr. Rodkey and Dr. Morgan from a friend and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Rodkey to see our "baby". Dr. Rodkey was extremely caring and compassionate. She listened to our concerns and during the exam handled our "baby" with warmth and love. She definitely is knowledgeable and explained things in layman's terms. We are going to bring all our precious "babies" back here for all their needs.

Our previous vet was severely lacking and our pets were beginning to suffer. We heard that Dr. Rodkey and Dr. Morgan were first rate vets. We brought our "baby" in to see Dr. Rodkey. She did a preliminary exam and recognized some issues we hadn't yet told her. She addressed our concerns and her compassion for our "baby"was certainly genuine. We are definite going to bring all of our pets here to see Dr. Rodkey.

Dr. Morgan and Jen are wonderful very personable staff and secretary make you feel very important great with my dogs very reasonably priced if you see Dr. Morgan himself . They do have a new vet out there who is a woman that I do not care for she was not willing to work on a price to get more than one animal fixed at a time she did not want to knowledge any vaccines that she did not give herself and upon speaking with her if you were not a colleague or someone that was taking orders from her she either talked over you or she would start a conversation with somebody else I did not find her very professional and I really didn’t care for her my recommendation would definitely be to see Dr. Morgan it’s a shame that Dr. Altmeyers has retired but Dr. Morgan is wonderful definitely see him and I cannot say enough about the vet tech Jen who is also wonderful and always helps out with any of our animals we take in!

A very inexpensive clinic. Amazing staff and amazing veterinarian. I take all 3 of my dogs there. I used to go to lash but he wouldn't do anything about my dogs leg. Went to Altmeyers and had a diagnosis and treatment in 2 hours. Beautiful setting as well. Highly recommend

Thank you Dr. Morgan for getting Luna back to her normal self. We are still trying to get that urine sample for you. Luna is feeling much better since her visit with you.
