Forest Inn Veterinary Hospital

Lehighton, Pennsylvania
General Info
Forest Inn Veterinary Hospital, situated in Lehighton, is dedicated to providing compassionate and knowledgeable care for pets throughout the region. The practice’s team is aware of the close link between pets and their families. The hospital works toward promoting wellness, addressing chronic conditions, and treating acute medical problems. Forest Inn Veterinary Hospital in Lehighton, Pennsylvania embraces a pet-friendly approach that progresses at the animal’s comfort level by interpreting behavior signals and owner input. When the animals arrive, they are observed not just during medical checks but also at check-in (how they respond to the scent layers as well as flooring texture, eye contact, and movement nearby). As the examination begins, clinicians adjust their techniques to the posture and handling responses by slowing down or stopping when they notice restlessness, breath variations, or resistance. The examination involves measuring coat density, levels of hydration, muscle mass, reaction of limbs and observing the surface of teeth as well as the temperature and mouth, flexibility of abdomen. Property owners receive invitations to discuss the recent activities within their domestic environment. The subtle changes in voices and energies give clues on what to do next. Forest Inn Veterinary Hospital provides strategic diagnostics and vaccinations with pain monitoring and senior wellness development alongside interlinked illness mapping. Flexible appointments allow the visits to be completed in one step or over several days depending on the emotional capacity of both the animal and household members. The use of diagrams, tracking calendars, and photo logs also need to be integrated for better communication between the visits. Follow-up care isn’t a reminder—it’s a conversation. The check-ins are based more on behavior (the child being settled) than specific times. Pet owners are trained to monitor what happens once the animal returns home after a visit. It primarily concerns the sensory balance in the pet’s body and activity levels. Some animals shut down, whereas others externalize more after intense stimulation experience. Forest Inn Veterinary Hospital provides veterinary care to the communities of Lehighton and surrounding Pennsylvania areas by establishing awareness through respect from start to finish which supports rhythms at home.

I have to give Dr. Squires and this Hospital an A +. I am an owner of a Personal Care Home Community, and we had a stray cat become very friendly with our residents that lived in our community. Being a business owner I was worried of scratching, fleas, worms and all kinds of diseases, so we asked the residents to keep from feeding the cat so that it will stop coming around. Of course the residents fed the cat anyways. Either way, one of our residents owned a cat of her own and took her to Dr. Squires over at Forest Inn, and explained to her the story of the stray cat. Dr. Squires was kind enough to offer to take this stray cat in so that she can fix her, and take care of any illnesses that she may have so that the residents can keep 'lucky', they named the cat around. All said and done, one of our residents took the cat in, and now she is fat and jolly and everyone is happy :) Thank you so much for the kind generosity of Forest Inn for helping make a senior citizen smile every day. When you join the ranks of people in in the field of veterinary care, you should have to take an oath, to heal those within your power. tried to bring my bleeding cat here after a car hit him, and would not be seen without an appointment. its hard to plan these things, and being told you wont get help at a hospital, be it for man or animal, was a huge let down. i vote a name change, they should lose the hospital in their name if they cant even help out a dying cat. for emergencies, go to creature comforts in Saylorsburg, fast care, great staff, and a true concern for the well being of your pet.
