I just called for an appointment regarding a recurring mammary gland tumor on my dog that is being followed by the vets. It has suddendly become much larger, and I was given an appointment 6 days from now!! Even though she is becoming symptomatic and I am visibly upset by these changes.
NO EMPATHY or concern in the desk staff answering the phone! The vets are great, if you can make it past the phone call!!

We brought our family dog, Mac, to this animal hospital after he had just recovered from a scary illness. We were not impressed with his care at our local vet during that illness. So off we went (an hour's distance) to Banfield Monaca for Mac's continued routine care, specifically, to vet Annie Berner (and their amazing lab facility, just in case we ever needed it!) Banfield did not disappoint. Their loving care of our beloved Mac blew us away, and the staff was completely professional, caring and kind. Later, Mac contracted a terminal illness, and the entire staff there supported us til the end. Amazingly, we received a sympathy card with personal notes written by each staff member after we lost Mac...just another example of what this practice is all about. Thank you, Annie and your amazing staff. We'll never forget you

Composite on Banfield's in general.Most of my interactions back in the day of 3 cats was positive. Veterinaries helpful and would explain what's going on. One must be aware that you are not buying a fee-for-service item but an annual contract that cannot be broken. And you will pay additional monies if/as necessary. That said, having checkups, and the tooth cleaning, is a helpful procedural system to ensure things get managed sooner than later. Staff has always been helpful but I believe I notice an up tick in the volume being handled. And sometimes the waiting in line is a little problematic. However, you can drop off pets at 7 am and pick up after 5 or so. Very convenient.f8 and be there.

I have a puppy plan and a dog plan here for my 5 year old shepherd and 5 month old pitbull puppy. It is easy to get an appointment and they are pretty quick. The vets and vet techs are nice but it does appear that there is a high turnover rates for their vets. I like the plans which are anywhere from $15 to $20 a month. They go every 6 months for a comprehensive exam and all their shots. My one complaint is that they rated my dog's health as poor due to him having plaque on his teeth. I believe that this is just a ploy to have him get on a dental plan.

This place treated my dying cat Waldo wish such care and concern that it was truly touching. They could tell that he was an incredibly loving cat, and will be greatly missed, and made the terrible ordeal as easy for us as possible. And not only that but the office sent us a card signed by what appears to be everyone working there, not only the three people we dealt with directly.Amazing, wonderful people. I now live nearly two hours away and would bring my new cat to them if it wasn't an immediate emergency.Thank you so much, Banfield.

I had to take my best friend of 19 years, born in the house I grew up in, slept with me every night until he got too old to, to be put down. It was a traumatic event just to start off with, and the last animal we put down, his mother, we took to a terrible place near us. Banfield Pet Hospital treated my cat Waldo with such amazing care it made the event much easier to cope with. The vet that did the procedure was very sympathetic, shook my hand, even hugged my mother. If this wasn't enough the hospital sent my family a card shortly afterwards. It looked like everyone working there signed it, not just the three people that dealt with us directly. Yes, I don't know how their typical day to day care is, but I have very rarely been treated with such genuine concern and care in my life. These people deserve every good thing that happens to them in life and I wish them all the best. Thank you, Banfield.

I just called for an appointment regarding a recurring mammary gland tumor on my dog that is being followed by the vets. It has suddendly become much larger, and I was given an appointment 6 days from now!! Even though she is becoming symptomatic and I am visibly upset by these changes.

We brought our family dog, Mac, to this animal hospital after he had just recovered from a scary illness. We were not impressed with his care at our local vet during that illness. I have a puppy plan and a dog plan here for my 5 year old shepherd and 5 month old pitbull puppy. It is easy to get an appointment and they are pretty quick. This place treated my dying cat Waldo wish such care and concern that it was truly touching. They could tell that he was an incredibly loving cat, and will be greatly missed, and made the terrible ordeal as easy for us as possible.
