In long, 1) The governor of Pennsylvania cleared all business to be "green" post covid pandemic, yet this place insist on making you wait outside in blazing 90 degree hot weather. They take your pet, and make you wait in the hot weather. There is only one bench outside with no shade covering to sit on while you wait, and wait, and wait.. till the vet or front desk calls you on your cell phone to update on your pet, then you wait some more. You have no idea what is going on with your pet when they are in there. You'll just have to rely on their word that your bill reflects everything they did although did not see. 2) They don't give you your pet back until you dish out your money. Basically holding your pet hostage unless you cough up your money. 3) Severe Lack to transparency when it comes to cost. I asked multiple times how much my dog's tx/ procedure etc would be a head of time and would refuse to answer, and give a beat around the bush answer. They charge for "examinations" for 3 consecutive visits in a row for a puppy with the cost of $62-$65 a pop among other cost. Even if your next appointment is only less than 20 days away. "Well puppies grow a lot" is the answer. And you are not allowed to refuse the useless exam because it's "part of their policy". And during your first visit with your puppy they tell you "oh you'll just be coming in for the shot without the exam fee", So they lie to you. Also, they charge for ear exam separate from physical. They take advantage of the fact that you have a puppy, and convince you need all these vaccines, exams, and tests, and follow ups even though you know your puppy is perfectly healthy and probably really only need an exam and their basic shots. Expect to pay minimum around $200 every time you go. When it comes to cost, expect to be bullshitted. 4) The employees and vet talk to you like your stupid. They talk to you like a child when they explained what their healthy puppy exam findings were, an assessment that takes 5 minutes, that somehow justifies the cost. *On a side note: I have 4 yrs of veterinary training, and I'm a RN, BSN., I know when my puppy is healthy and when unnecessary exams are a way to make money. I don't need them to charge me $65 just to tell me my puppy is healthy. Being in the healthcare field, I also know one is being financially taken advantage of. Read Less

My husband and I have a rescue pitty that we have had since she was a puppy. She had a rough start and subsequent medical issues. Nazareth vet is caring, thorough and flexible. They even help us file claims with our pet insurance company after her visits. We had a close call with her before we knew about her kidney issues and they were wonderful throughout the whole ordeal and right on top of her monitoring tests ever since. I do also recommend all pet owners look into pet health insurance. If you're looking for a vet for a new pet - sign up BEFORE your first visit. We have Nationwide's Major Medical and it has saved us thousands. It really helps with any tests and procedures that crop up other than your normal visits. That way you can feel comfortable saying yes to tests your pet needs without feeling it financially. Read Less

Front desk is nice along with two of the vets I saw. Dog was diagnosed with lyme, platelet tests were very low. Dr. John called the following morning with a very aggressive disposition, (very unprofessional), he was insisting on more tests because her cbc showed extremely low platelets. I felt a second opinion was important. Took her to another vet and her platelets were perfectly normal so we avoided a blood transfusion. I suggest getting a second opinion to ensure correct diagnosis, treatments and avoid and unnecessary procedures. Read Less
