In long,
1) The governor of Pennsylvania cleared all business to be "green" post covid pandemic, yet this place insist on making you wait outside in blazing 90 degree hot weather. They take your pet, and make you wait in the hot weather. There is only one bench outside with no shade covering to sit on while you wait, and wait, and wait.. till the vet or front desk calls you on your cell phone to update on your pet, then you wait some more. You have no idea what is going on with your pet when they are in there. You'll just have to rely on their word that your bill reflects everything they did although did not see.
2) They don't give you your pet back until you dish out your money. Basically holding your pet hostage unless you cough up your money.
3) Severe Lack to transparency when it comes to cost.
I asked multiple times how much my dog's tx/ procedure etc would be a head of time and would refuse to answer, and give a beat around the bush answer.
They charge for "examinations" for 3 consecutive visits in a row for a puppy with the cost of $62-$65 a pop among other cost. Even if your next appointment is only less than 20 days away. "Well puppies grow a lot" is the answer. And you are not allowed to refuse the useless exam because it's "part of their policy". And during your first visit with your puppy they tell you "oh you'll just be coming in for the shot without the exam fee", So they lie to you. Also, they charge for ear exam separate from physical. They take advantage of the fact that you have a puppy, and convince you need all these vaccines, exams, and tests, and follow ups even though you know your puppy is perfectly healthy and probably really only need an exam and their basic shots. Expect to pay minimum around $200 every time you go. When it comes to cost, expect to be bullshitted.
4) The employees and vet talk to you like your stupid. They talk to you like a child when they explained what their healthy puppy exam findings were, an assessment that takes 5 minutes, that somehow justifies the cost.
*On a side note: I have 4 yrs of veterinary training, and I'm a RN, BSN., I know when my puppy is healthy and when unnecessary exams are a way to make money. I don't need them to charge me $65 just to tell me my puppy is healthy. Being in the healthcare field, I also know one is being financially taken advantage of. Read Less
