I called this vet because of the high rating but I don't understand why they do have a high rating. I just called there to get my SICK dog in to be seen and they told me the soonest they could see him would be next Tuesday!! An entire week for a sick dog??? Wow. I will be going elsewhere. Made a misdiagnosis on our 5 year old Great Dane. This led to multiple other expensive treatments at another clinic. Eventually our pet past away due to the original issue being under treated. I would not recommend this place. Read Less

Dr. Cadwell took great care of our pets growing up, so when i moved out and got my first dog it was an easy decision!  At one point, I was living over an hour away and continued to take my dogs to him!   He is thorough, knowledgeable and reasonable with prices.  The office has Saturday and evening hours which is so helpful.  His office staff are pleasant and I also really like his daughter, Jill.  She is a great veterinarian too!  I would recommend both to friends and family (though most of my family already takes their pets there!) Father and daughter are both vets. my maltese/pom and toy poodle have seen both doctors, always satisfied, always listening to what I have to say, and always answering any of my questions. I also take my niece's lhasa apso. always excellent care. I have been coming to the Caldwell's for the life of two dogs...so around 16 years. While I think his daughter Jill is better with communication, both of them are very solid vets. They did both cherry eyes on my Cane Corso puppy and his eyes are perfect now, no dry eye at all. They were also able to nail down reoccurring sores on my dogs paws as a reaction to a beef protein allergy. Aside from being competent and thorough, they are also affordable. I think I paid half as much for the cherry eye surgery as the vet that was recommended to me by my dog 's breeder. Read Less

Very good veterinarian! I don't think that you'd find any better in all of Beaver county, let alone New Brighton. Dr. Caldwell (David's daughter) serviced my dog and spent a good deal of time checking her and conveying the technical information. I would highly recommend. She seems quite knowledgeable and thorough, and they are definitely reasonably priced. It's not often that you will get any one in the health fields to actually give a significant time explaining the diagnosis and subsequent prognosis. Very good experience! Read Less

Excellent care! Both Dr. Caldwell and his daughter, also Dr. Caldwell, are extremely knowledgeable and caring. Everyone in the office is friendly and kind and always available to answer questions. They are reasonably priced and do not try to sell you products or services that aren't necessary. They work with you to find a treatment plan that is best for your situation.
