We have been taking our pets to Country Doctor for over 35 years, starting when Dr. Langman had the practice on Farrier Road. Over the past three months we have had to say goodbye to our two beloved, elderly GSDs, Jewel and Angel. Dr. Trexler, and the entire staff, are nothing but caring and compassionate. When Jewel was euthanized back in June, I was so upset that I completely forgot to take her collar off and didn't realize it until a few days later. Yesterday we took Angel to be euthanized, and guess what the desk staff handed me? Yep, Jewel's collar. From puppyhood to the end, their care and attention was unparalleled. Thank you, all.

We absolutely love them. What we love the most is where we've encountered prejudices with our breed (am bully mix and pit mixes) we have never ever had a problem here. No automatic muzzling because of her breed and no hesitation whatsoever. Excellent follow up via phone calls and conversations and the vets speak to us like we are people not clients. So even though we've moved making the commute over an hour, we will continue to make the trip.

I had a Belgian Malinois. She was treated by Dr. Vistinainer for 6 weeks for her problem. She had some weakness in her hips and her face would swell up from time to time. At the end I insisted that the Vet do a blood test since I thought the problem was medical and not structural. He did it in office and said that perhaps his machine was not working since the dogs blood count was so low that the she would have hemorrhage internally and die. We took Darcy to the University of Pennsylvania right away where she died the next day at the age of two. I said to my wife that he, the vet, would know he screwed up and at least not charge for the last visit. She responded that he already did and the bill was several hundred of dollars

I've been looking for a good vet since Dr. Terry Miller passed away years ago. I'm very picky and unfortunately have gone through a lot of vets. A friend of mine told me about one of the vets here so I decided to try it. It's not far from where I live (I've driven up to an hour for a good vet) . They were FANTASTIC. I highly recommend them. Prices are about what you would find anywhere but the care and staff is customer service oriented. GREAT vet clinic.

The team at the Country Doctor is the best in the area. The staff is helpful and attentive, and the vets are top notch. My 14-year-old labrador is a lifelong patient.The veterinary staff is well versed in canine diseases and health problems, and has always been spot on in diagnosis and treatment, including some rather hard-to-figure out problems my dog has had.The Country Doctor is operating out of a custom-built facility, which opened a few years ago. The new office has a top quality surgical center, as well as most equipment on-site needed to do a variety of tests and procedures.It's a bit of a trip from the Allentown area, but it's well worth it. I have family that drives from Hazleton, PA to get their dogs looked after!Full disclosure: one of the vets on staff has been a family friend for years. Hopefully, that doesn't diminish the impact of a positive review.

We have been taking our pets to Country Doctor for over 35 years, starting when Dr. Langman had the practice on Farrier Road. Over the past three months we have had to say goodbye to our two beloved, elderly GSDs, Jewel and Angel. Dr. Trexler, and the entire staff, are nothing but caring and compassionate. When Jewel was euthanized back in June, I was so upset that I completely forgot to take her collar off and didn't realize it until a few days later. Yesterday we took Angel to be euthanized, and guess what the desk staff handed me? Yep, Jewel's collar. From puppyhood to the end, their care and attention was unparalleled. Thank you, all.

We absolutely love them. What we love the most is where we've encountered prejudices with our breed (am bully mix and pit mixes) we have never ever had a problem here. No automatic muzzling because of her breed and no hesitation whatsoever. Excellent follow up via phone calls and conversations and the vets speak to us like we are people not clients. My family had been going to this practice since Dr. James H. Langman started it. They are knowledgeable, fair and will give you more than one option normally when it comes to the hard decisions. I pass 2-3 others hospitals going to them because, you don't take your family to the second best.

I've been looking for a good vet since Dr. Terry Miller passed away years ago. I'm very picky and unfortunately have gone through a lot of vets. A friend of mine told me about one of the vets here so I decided to try it. It's not far from where I live (I've driven up to an hour for a good vet) . They were FANTASTIC. I highly recommend them. Prices are about what you would find anywhere but the care and staff is customer service oriented. GREAT vet clinic.

The team at the Country Doctor is the best in the area. The staff is helpful and attentive, and the vets are top notch. My 14-year-old labrador is a lifelong patient.The veterinary staff is well versed in canine diseases and health problems, and has always been spot on in diagnosis and treatment, including some rather hard-to-figure out problems my dog has had.The Country Doctor is operating out of a custom-built facility, which opened a few years ago. The new office has a top quality surgical center, as well as most equipment on-site needed to do a variety of tests and procedures.It's a bit of a trip from the Allentown area, but it's well worth it. I have family that drives from Hazleton, PA to get their dogs looked after!Full disclosure: one of the vets on staff has been a family friend for years. Hopefully, that doesn't diminish the impact of a positive review.
