I have been taking my cats to IWVC since 2015 and have met with 3 of the 4 wonderful! vets throughout the few years that I have been here. The entire staff, customer service and vet techs included, are caring and understanding with your concerns for your pet(s). I highly recommend this office if you are looking for a new vet.They even have Feline Only appointments on the 1st Tuesday of every month! This animal hospital is so caring and compassionate to people and their kiddos.  Dr Tanya Thies has been my vet for 15+ years, and I know if something is wrong she'll know just what to do....I trust her with  my 15 year old dog and he loves her. We've been bringing our cats and dog Sammy since they first opened in 1990. We waited quite a few years, then decided to get our little Morkie, Cutiepie! She's nervous every time we get to the front door, until Dr. G or one of the assistants take her and calm her down. everyone on staff is very friendly and helpful, and answers any and all concerns or questions we might have. The staff and doctors here go above and beyond when they deal with us. We had to put our sweet Shannon down last month, and they couldn't have been more sympathetic and kind. Their gentle touch on both her and us was so greatly appreciated . They made the unbearable less so. They understand the bond we have with our fur babies and always show respect for that. I've gone to another vet in the past and am so happy now that I'm taking my dog to Indian walk vet now. The minute you walk in the door there's a warm welcome atmosphere. Dr. Kusiak and Carolyn were nothing short of perfect. My visit was for my nearly 19 year old cat who had very recently stopped eating and began to lose weight. After a thoughtful dialog, professional checkup and some testing, I was made aware that my trusted friend and faithful companion of nearly 19 years had a terminal illness that could not be treated. As pet owners, we all know how much we love our pets and most of us would do anything to see them healthy and happy. Dr. Kusiak's advice as to how I should proceed was exactly what I needed to hear. Her professionalism and attention to my emotions at that difficult time was amazing. Both Dr. Kusiak and Carolyn were informative about the procedure, they provided me with support and allowed me the privacy to say goodbye to my cat on my own terms and timeline. I am not ashamed to admit that I got emotional, both in the exam room and as I left. Every staff member acknowledged me and said, "I am sorry for your loss" with sincerity. Even the next customer who was waiting to be seen wished me well. It was not an easy couple days and there is no hiding the fact that I went in with a great friend and left without her but I can think of no better place to take my future pets than Indian Walk. Indian Walk has been wonderful to our beloved dog. Their online pharmacy service is extremely convenient, and we have been treated with love and care at every visit. We recently had to put our dog on arthritis medication. Although I was very resistant to medicating him, the staff patiently explained the risks and benefits, and long term treatment options. Very hygienic. The veterinarians are all pet lovers and really know what they are doing. Indian Walk is always on the forefront of necessary medicine, such as flea and tick preventatives, heartworm medication, etc... My dogs are almost at home there. Read Less

Over 14 years and several moves, we have experienced a number of vets, but Indian Walk is really superb.  Everyone from the receptionists to the doctors are friendly, caring and solicitous if the animals.  They offer treatment options and explain the pros and cons of each.  My cat and dog could not be on better hands as they grow old. My husband and I recently moved to the area and took our 2 cats here for their yearly check up without knowing much about the practice. We were very pleased with the visit, the staff at the front desk were pleasant, the technician who did the preliminary history (I believe her name was Caroline) was friendly and efficient and Dr.  Tanya Thies was awesome.  Dr. Thies was very gentle with our two nervous cats and helped to put them at ease.  She was informative and gave us some great tips for how to better care for our cats.  We were very impressed with the visit and would recommend this office/veterinarian to others!  We are happy to have found this place. This place is FANTASTIC.  I called them day of to make an appointment for my dog who had an eye infection and they took me right away.  The girl on the phone was very friendly and helpful, and when I got to the vet, everyone greeted us very warmly.  They were so kind and really loving towards my pup.  We were in and out of there quickly too.  I just moved here from California, and knowing that I have great people here to care for my dog is one less thing I have to worry about.  Thank you Indian Walk Vet! Indian Walk hasthe most caring and knowledgeble staff of any Vet I have been to. I took my cat there for a stomach problem and they worked really hard to figure out the issues. She is all better now thanks to the caring Doctors and Nurses. The staff kept me updated with all the results of tests without me having to call all the time. Very Professional.
