My pets have coming to NEAH since 2013 and I could never dream of taking them anywhere else! The doctors and staff are friendly towards the owners and truly care about the pets. Both doctors have helped my pets through emergency surgeries, and were supportive for me the whole time. The doctors will personally get on the phone with you to give you updates on your pets. The vet techs and receptionists are always smiling and friendly, and you can tell they all love what they do and that they genuinely care about your pets! I have utilized their new grooming addition and my Shih Tzu's came home looking amazing! The groomer does an amazing job and is caring towards your pets! I would never leave North East Animal Hospital because I want the absolute best care for my pets, and I recommend them to everyone else who wants compassionate care for their fur babies also!! Absolutely love Dr. Ramsdell and his staff at NEAH! They have always been amazing with my pets and very compassionate and caring the three times we’ve had to say good-bye to our best friends. Dr. Ramsdell and his staff go way above and beyond to keep your best friend healthy and with you as long as possible, without prolonging agony to your best friend. After an appointment, they call to check on your pet, they take the time to explain things and answer all questions you may have. Dr. Ramsdell & his staff were so kind when I brought my new puppy to them. She was a little scared, but he was so sweet and nice to her that she warmed up quickly. I have brought my pups to North East Animal since 2008. My dogs enjoy the staff and doctors. Their boarding service is wonderful. Knowing my pets are in good hands helps me to enjoy vacation. Been a basset hound mom for over 16 years now and couldn't have done it without Dr. Ramsdell (whose surgical skills I have heard praised by other veternarians!) and the whole gang at NEAH. They have been through the best and the worst of times with us. They are truly part of our family. Just a few days ago, Dr. Ramsdell had to do an emergency procedure to remove a juniper branch from our 5 year old basset, Ellie Mae's, nose! We do like to present the doc with challenges, lol. Dr. Ramsdell is the best. I have gone here for years. I left for awhile and went somewhere else due to convenience of location. I found that's a small thing in the whole of things. We recently moved to the area and brought our dogs in for their annual check up. The staff was friendly, kind and patient with my dogs who were VERY excited to be there and more than a little spastic. The Techs and Dr. Ramsdell really took the time to get to know our dogs and their histories. They were gentle in administering the injections and offered great suggestions on ways to keep them healthy. If you need a place to take your pets I highly recommend taking them to NEAH! Read Less

Even though it's a bit of a car ride for my pets I've still stayed with North East Animal Hospital. Every time I take my pets in I have a great experience. Everyone there is very nice and have been great with my dog who is terrified of strangers. I think their pricing is reasonable, especially for the great care my pets receive.Read Less

Do not ever use this vet clinic. The office manager is more than rude and doesn't listen to clients and fancies herself a veterinarian and not clerical staff. The bottom line in this practice is all about making money and not any compassion or care for the animals that they treat. Read Less
