We adopted a puppy back in November of 2012, and did a lot of research on veterinarians. The vet we had taken my family's dog to as a child had sort of rubbed us the wrong way, and I wanted to make sure we did it right this time.
Well, we did/are doing it right. I actually found Willow Creek by searching the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, and we found Dr. Jamie Moran's name. She is wonderful! (We've seen other doctors there, and they all are excellent, too! Most of our experience is with Dr. Moran, though.) Dr. Moran is very thorough, explains things well to those of us who are new to the lingo, and lets us know all of our options, and explains her reasoning for her recommendations rather than just "I'm the Doctor, that's why." (Which I have heard before from a vet, and other types of doctors.) Also, when giving an injection to our puppy, she flings a few cookies on the table to distract him with something to chase and eat while she does it, and he doesn't even notice.
All of the nurses, vet techs, and support staff stop to pet him. The receptionists know his name (even if we don't have an appointment for them to refer to). Even the place where we board him for vacations were happy to hear were were taking him to Willow Creek. That really says something.
So, we are and will be repeat customers. These folks are awesome. Take your pet to them, and you will not be disappointed. Read Less
