Carol Y is a good doctor. However, I felt the other office staff found every excuse to run up a bill. I would take a cat for a respiratory infection. They would charge me for an ear swab, ear cleaning, ear cleaner, and ear mite treatment. I could get ear cleaner at Boyers for 1/4 of the price and clean the cats ears myself. Then do such things as coax me into unneeded flea medicine and vaccines. After numerous $200-$300 bills, I stopped going. They charge you an extra $30 for same day visits. The Oley Valley Animal Clinic doesn't do any of this run your bill up as much as we can stuff. Read Less

We took our 9.5 week old puppy to have a simple ear chop. During our initial visit it was very clear that they wanted to make more money off of us by offering unnecessary services. Despite this we left our puppy there for the procedure. The next day late in the after noon we received a phone call that our puppy had died. Now they are refusing to accept any responsibility. Our puppy was very healthy and happy by their own admission when we left her there. Now our family is heartbroken over this unnecessary loss.
