Been coming here for years. Overall, never had a problem. Took my dog in because of a skin issue. Dr. Sheasley said it was cancer, I left there crying... then they sent me to an oncologist. Oncologist...
Been coming here for years. Overall, never had a problem. Took my dog in because of a skin issue. Dr. Sheasley said it was cancer, I left there crying... then they sent me to an oncologist. Oncologist (Dr. Vickery) at Valley Central confirmed. So Put my dog through surgery with Dr. Sheasley instead of doing it at Valley Central. He was devastated! He didnt understand why I was doing this to him. Three long incisions. After Biopsy... inconclusive! So they sent me to a Dermatology vet that had seen this type of problem before and it was NOT cancer! My poor Dog and I went through H...he now has a stress condition. I just wish they would've have sent me to a Dermatologist first. You want to trust in your Vets that they know, How can I trust opinions now? I'm still upset and dont understand it. I Blame the Oncologist more so. I paid alot of Money including at the Dermatologist. But thats not the issue for me. Its the point of everything... and what i put my poor baby through the MOST. Thats why I'm giving a 3. As far as the desk Staff, I would give them a 5. They have always been so kind and caring. Especially Jen

Excellent care from the staff and Dr. Her problem was properly addressed. Her medication was not insanely priced. The cost of the visit was extremely less than what in was expecting. We've taken our dog here for 6 years now and don't plan to change vets anytime soon.

I feel safe bringing my baby to Highland and I have taken Sara there ever since I adopted her. I was worried when Dr. Lowe retired but Dr. Sheasley is a wonderful, kind and meticulous veterinarian who literally gets down on the floor to examine Sara because Sara hates being up on the metal table. Also her extensive knowledge is comforting to me and she is equally kind to Sara and to me. Dr. Sheasley keeps an eye on things for sure! It is obvious that the reception staff and vet techs love my dog very much and have always been so kind to her. That means the world to me. It fits my belief that like attracts like and that is why everyone at Highland are so top notch - knowledgeable and so kind.

Boo is home resting today after her mammory gland surgery yesterday. Boo went from an abusive home, to being rescued to a therapy dog. I had no idea that this condition could be caused by not neutering a dog. So glad we rescued her, found the lump early and can start treatment. If anyone needs yet another reason why to neuter a dog, show them a photo of Boo. Thanks to all the staff at Highland for the excellent care and love for all animals. You are all amazing!

Our little Shih Tzu was seizing and had some major medical problems.
Dr. Kelly Sheasley called us at home and came in early to help him. Although all that she did, my wife and I finally decided that it was time for him to go, he didn't need to suffer or have pain any longer.
Dr. Sheasley did above and beyond what we would have expected and for this, my wife and I are eternally thankful.
We also thank the entire staff as they were very comforting to us and understood our pain in losing our little buddy. Thanks for everything! God bless you!

My husband and I absolutely love this vet. We have taken both of our dogs for check ups there. We also took our one dog there while he was being treated by a canine cancer specialist. They were able to answer all of our questions and were very kind when he did pass away. We will be returning here as needed with our other pets.

I have been a client of Highland Animal Hospital since I have owned doggies....My Shelby (Siberian husky child) is my whole world, and I trust the care she receives at Highland Animal Hospital. When we had to put our 9 year old German Shepherd, Charlie, to sleep due to cancer, I couldn't have asked for more compassionate people to be with us during that very difficult time. We even received a sympathy card the following week from the staff.The not only offer excellent vet services but they also sell high quality dog food, dog collars, medicines, dental chews, and more.I feel the pricing is very reasonable and they have many highly qualified veterinarians on staff so you never have to wait to get an appointment. There pricing is also very reasonable (which in these days is important).

This vet is very overpriced, The staff at the front desk are just HORRIBLE. You will stand there for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledges you. The waits are very long, even if you make it to your appointment early. I looked up all the medication that was prescribed to my cat (which now I realize was not even needed and did nothing to solve the problem) and it was 20 to 30 dollars cheaper online! I cannot believe I paid so much money! They talk you into every vaccine/medication/treatment they can by making you think it is NECESSARY. Most of all, they have repeatedly failed to properly diagnose 3 of my cats. When my cats starting showing symptoms the next day after being seen, their best answer was to "bring the cat back in" and then what? You guessed it, pay us more money!I am literally going to drive an hour and 45 minutes to start going back to my old vet that I was going to for years. They really cared about their patients and were definitely reasonable in price! Most of all THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING

Boo is home resting today after her mammory gland surgery yesterday. Boo went from an abusive home, to being rescued to a therapy dog. I had no idea that this condition could be caused by not neutering a dog. So glad we rescued her, found the lump early and can start treatment. If anyone needs yet another reason why to neuter a dog, show them a photo of Boo. Thanks to all the staff at Highland for the excellent care and love for all animals. You are all amazing!

Our little Shih Tzu was seizing and had some major medical problems.
Dr. Kelly Sheasley called us at home and came in early to help him. Although all that she did, my wife and I finally decided that it was time for him to go, he didn't need to suffer or have pain any longer.
Dr. Sheasley did above and beyond what we would have expected and for this, my wife and I are eternally thankful.
We also thank the entire staff as they were very comforting to us and understood our pain in losing our little buddy. Thanks for everything! God bless you!

Most of all, they have repeatedly failed to properly diagnose 3 of my cats. When my cats starting showing symptoms the next day after being seen, their best answer was to "bring the cat back in" and then what? You guessed it, pay us more money!I am literally going to drive an hour and 45 minutes to start going back to my old vet that I was going to for years. They really cared about their patients and were definitely reasonable in price! Most of all THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING
