After a really tough time capturing my little feral cat, I was finallly able to get her there for spaying and declowing (bad me). I just want to say that is what I asked for.  My bill was $717.50.  That is not an error - seven hundred seventeen dollars and fifty cents.  Now they did MANY things I did not ask for which they refer to as "their protocol" because I am sure a healthy 24 month old cat needs an EKG and many many other tests and shots...$717.50 spaying & declawing. So far so good. They seemed to be so caring and very professional. The vet answered all of my many many questions with lots of care, concern and very much patience! The vet tech was also very patient and helpful with me. They both seemed to love their jobs. Even the receptionist was wonderful! I actually enjoyed being there. I felt so welcome. I moved to the Souderton area in 1995 with (2) cats & (2) children in tow. I was using a local vet and was very disappointed overall. I found Telford Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Minninger on Railroad Avenue in Telford in 1996 or 1997... and I've never looked back. I graciously followed them to their current, most beautiful location here in Souderton. We've also had the pleasure of working with Dr. Kline as well since she joined a few years ago. Our pets, like most, are a part of our family. We've lost a few pets through the years... and as you know, it is never easy. When it has occurred, they showed nothing but complete compassion. When I come in with one of our cats who is having a problem... they are right on it and have never let us down in finding the best resolution! Whenever I've left messages to speak with either of the doctors, I always receive a call back promptly and they always take their time with us and explain things in laymen terms. Words cannot describe what an amazing experience I had at this clinic. I had never been here before and had an emergency with my dog. His regular vet pretty much blew me off so my sister recommend calling them.  Dr Kline and the entire staff were incredible. I'm shocked to read these negative reviews. I have taken 2 dogs and a cat to this vet for 14 years and have never experienced anything but very warm and friendly staff as well as personable, knowledgeable vets. I will admit they sometimes seemed a little over cautious in their recommendations for somethings, but I never felt pressured or guilted into doing any procedure or care routine that I didn't want to do, and they always offered and explained options. I've always found Telford Vet very accommodating to my pets' needs and feel very confident and appreciative of the care they have given my pets. Read Less

I've been taking my gerbils and guinea pigs there for about 10 years now. I've had several surgeries done to my gerbils and they have always done well afterward. Amazing how much can be done for the little creatures when you go to the right place. Very highly recommended! Read Less

I have been told by many people not to come here for many reasons. I learned the hard way. My dog was treated for over 2 months on antibiotics and I would go in weekly to pick up the meds. My dog was scheduled to be on until the first week in July. Three times I went in and they didn't have the meds. No one knew what the other was doing or saying to the customer. The vet didn't even know where to look for the meds. If they were picked up, conversations with receptionists were a joke. I had to pay extra for my dog to got a shot because THEY didn't have the meds in stock. I was told often that they didn't have them and that I would have to drive to Quakertown to pick them up from ANOTHER vet. Then when I told them that I didn't have time to go there, my daughter had suffered a concussion, miraculously they appeared. I wish I would have listened to the public earlier. I have called different vets and hospitals and they were also appalled at how they ran their organization. We are so very happy with our new vet! Read Less

Beautiful, state -of- the art facility. Great, caring staff. Call to follow up on how the dog is doing after treatments. Give us plently of options and costs so we can make a good decision. We took our business to this company for years. Dr. Amy Tan is amazing and a few of the staff members are exceptional. However, they continously would have additional costs added to the bills. They tried to charge me close to 100 dollars for some test they said my mother's dog had, however, that dog did not have any tests completed. In addition they tacked on my brother's bill to my parent's account and made them pay for it disregarding the fact that they had a check from my brother. Then they had the audacity to ream out my mother at home because they realized their mistake and said she was 'upsetting' the employees when she tried to get her money back. Finally, my handicapped mother went to discuss the problem with somebody in charge where they gave us back all of our records and proceeded to block the exit from my mother, trying to make her walk out the back way, the long way to her vehicle. I am extremely disappointed in how all these matters were taken care of. They became hostile and rude when we tried to fix the problem. I would never reccomend taking your animal here, as I will never again. I normally would say mistakes happen, but it happens frequently here and the way they handled it was out of line. Read Less

Staff took the time to help out and and be compassionate during a very tough time. Beautiful new hospital, comfortable, roomy and even ""homey"". Extremely knowledgable doctors and assistants. Treated my pet like she was their very own. Nice doggie walking area, hospital was easy to find. Hours suited our needs perfectly. First animal hospital that DOESN'T smell like animals!!! Read Less
