Got the puppy plan. We were initially pleased with it until the vet tech started selling add-ons, like a Benadryl shot for nearly $20. This wouldn't have bothered me normally, but they kept pushing the issue and telling me about--and exaggerating--the reactions our dog could have from the vaccine and how much emergency vets cost. All the other vets I've been to will tell you to buy a pack of children's Benadryl and tell you the dosage, in addition to telling you their hours and giving you the number for the e-vet, just in case. No scare tactics and hard selling. On the second visit, the exam table was pulled up (like a Murphy bed) and they immediately took our pup to the back room, where they did the vaccines and exam. Well, I *think* they did. Worse than that, they never told me where the injection site was. I figured it was on the shoulder like last time, until I felt a bump on my pup's upper back leg. After googling, I found out that that's where, most likely, they gave my pup the rabies vaccine. Nice. I'd like to switch vets now, but I'm locked into the contract for a year. I'm dreading scheduling getting my pup fixed. There's some other stuff, too, but frankly I wouldn't put it past them to read this and try to narrow it down to a patient so they can retaliate, so I won't post it.Read Less
