We took a calf here. She was born unable to walk except in a circle. Dr. Heinert adjusted her and she began walking normal when we took her home to her mother. This man is a godsend ! 2 vets sent our Puggle home to die because of slipped discs his hind legs would not move . . A friend told us about dr. I am very pleased with Dr. Heinart. We have only been dealing with him for less than a year, but he has been very helpful.We have 5 animals; 3 cats, 2 dogs. We went to Dr. Heinart for our 10 year old beagle. He had a swollen prostate and had been on some pretty hefty meds from another vet. We had scheduled an appointment to have our dog neutered at the other vet. They had quoted a price of $336. When my husband arrived the morning of the surgery, they told him it would be $500+ because he needed more medication. He had not even seen the vet yet. My husband walked out and we started asking our friends about vets that could be trusted. You want someone who really knows? Ask a farmer! lol!Anyway, we scheduled our beagle for the neuter , and were upfront about everything that had transpired with the other vet. We only had to pay a fraction of the cost and Dr. Heinart did a marvelous job! It took our dog a couple of days to really be himself, he was quite groggy, but that was to be expected with Dr. Heinart's method.Our dog was like he was a puppy again, playing, running, barking, tail always wagging, etc. When we took our field spaniel in for a flea allergy, he was just as great! The homeopathic meds he prescribed worked like a charm. We had been dealing for months, trying everything we could find to help our f.s., but she would just dig and dig and ended up with open sores on her back above her tail. We used Advantage drops to help with the fleas, and treated the rest of the animals in the house too. Our 23 lb. male cat had a toxic reaction to tapeworm medication that I had gotten from another vet, Dr. Heinart worked wonders there too!Today, I took my beagle back, who is now 11. He has an issue with a disk in his back that acts up occasionally because he is a longer dog.  We knew something was going on with his back over the last couple of weeks, but Saturday during the night, he peed all the way across the floor to his bed. I don't think he even knew he did it. I explained everything that had happened over the last couple of weeks in detail. Dr. Heinart examined him thoroughly, and recommended an x-ray if the meds didn't help. There really isn't much that can be done for this condition, other than acupuncture, which Dr. Heinart performs. I can't say enough GREAT things about this Vet!!!! Dr. Heinert is amazing. My 13 year old chihuahua was diagnosed with congestive heart failure about 6 years ago. He has been on lasix, enalipril, and vetmedin ever since the diagnosis (by a different vet). His heart had gotten so large that you could feel it pressing against his rib cage - it felt like it was pounding out of his chest. Then I was told that he had a bubble on his heart that could burst at any given second. He couldn't even run or jump anymore. I had enough and started searching for a "homeopathic vet". Luckily, I found Dr. Heinert!!! He took a look at my baby's blood work and said his kidneys, liver and pancreas were in danger of shutting down! He said my dog needed to be weaned off enalipril immediately! (My previous vet had told me that his blood work looked good for a 13 year old dog with CHF). Well, it has been about a month now, and my baby is doing great! His heart doesn't seem as swelled anymore and he can jump on the couch again without assistance. His heartbeat feels and sounds so much better!!! He is acting like a puppy again!!! I can not stress enough how thankful I am to this vet. I would walk to see this vet and we do not live close to him by any means!!!! He really cares and does a wonderful job with my pets. The staff is always friendly and nice on the phone. Dr. Heinart is an amazing vet. My dog "Edan" who is now 2 yrs was saved by him. When Edan was just old enough to leave his canine mother he came to be my care and the day i got him i was letting him sleep under a blanket on the floor and my boyfriend had stepped right on him and crushed him. I rushed him to the erie animal hospital and they had told me the best thing to do was euthanize him. It borke my heart to hear that so I tokk him home and stayed up with him knowing he was barely alive and had a slim to none chance of living. The next morning I took him to Dr. Heinart to get him checked and he gave Edan some Homeopathic meds and surprize with in a few days Edan was up and running around like a puppy again. First my grandfather takes his pets, then my mom, and now me and I have even recommended him to my other family members. It is a little far for me but well worth the amount of service I get. I have 3 cats and 1 dog and I feel very comfortable taking them there. I have taken my pets to other places in the past before being recommended to Dr. Heinart and it was awful and expensive the other guys didn't know what was wrong with my cat and was only thinking about the money when if came to other services but this natural clinic is the best no hassle no sales pressure.
