Pocopson Veterinary Station is our favorite groups of doctors that we have ever had for our dogs. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful and so great at what they do. I always know that my dogs are getting the very best care! The prices are reasonable and they always point out the options for a range of possibilities, if some treatments are particularly expensive. Also, if there is an expert that will do a better job for a specific issue, then they recommend them and help with that too. There are other vets that have made us feel bullied into expensive treatments, or have hidden costs that are not disclosed until payment is due - but not at Pocopson. At Pocopson they give great care and loving, expert attention to your animals, but they also are super friendly and considerate to the owners, weighing the choices and showing the costs up front. Pocopson Vet is wonderful, and always takes such good care of our two cats. We love Dr. Kidd, but everyone you see there is fantastic. You can tell they really love the animals they see. I just walked out of there feeling like my cat was a rock star last week, they all gave him so much love:) What is also good to know is that it is not difficult to get an appointment - emergency or not - and their pricing is very fair. I love this place!!! So much !!! I have a very high energy anxious German Shepherd who needed to have a tooth extracted. Everyone was so great with Chase. They treated him like family. He warmed up to everyone immediately. It was such a great experience. Dr. Kidd was so thorough and spent a lot of time with me answering all of my questions and gave me amazing advice and resources. The staff here are amazing and friendly. My cat is almost 19 years old and has recently begun suffering from kidney disease. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. When I got my dog Roofus he weighed just 3lbs and he couldn't stand or walk. I was told he was an 8 week old German Shepherd Dog but there was no way. I remember bringing him to office this was July 2010 and he was so sick - they told me that they didn't think he would make it but they'd do everything they could and I do believe that they saved his life. He is now 120 lbs and loves life and loves the entire staff at Pocopson! They are a great group of people and are great with animals.
