Dr. Mary and the rest of the staff are amazing. They are compassionate towards my two cats and to me, especially when things are tough. They give excellent advice and will discuss reasonable options until a course of treatment is agreed upon. I would recommend them to anyone with pets. We met my dog's sister and while speaking to her owner, we quickly discovered how great Dr. Mary is - the dogs had the same health issues (allergies) and the other owner told me of the hundreds of dollars she had just spent on medication at another local Vet's office - we had the same treatment and spent under $100. We had been loyal to Dr. Mary for about 5 years. All of our pets were taken care of by the practice. Multiple times per year for shots and other needs. Then my cat fell sick and because I told them I don't have money until Friday, they won't see my sick cat. They showed me they only care about my money, and have no love for the welfare of my pets. I guess when my other cat was put to sleep at the practice, they only showed concern because my card's funds cleared. Learn from my lesson, find a practice that cares about pets first. I switched from Banfield to Pine Village a while back after my dog was having chronic ear infections. A friend recommended Pine Village after several (expensive) trips to Banfield with no success. I do not regret the decision to switch for one second. Everyone at Pine Village is SO friendly, caring and helpful. The office is beautiful. Dr. Mary takes her time with my dog and thoroughly explains everything to me. She is so knowledgeable. With an easy change in diet, my dog hasnt had an ear infection since. I was referred to Pine Village Vet when I needed a quick vaccination for my dog and her regular vet didn't have it. I loved them so much that we have stayed. I'm always impressed with how Dr. Mary gets down on the floor with my dog and hugs her, lets her lick her, and generally loves her up. And she is so reasonably priced that I've actually told her to RAISE her prices. She gives great service and deserves to be compensated for it. I have three dogs and have utilized several of the large group vet practices here in the North Hills. I was concerned as there was little continuity of care at our old practice. I met Dr. Mary and her staff and was thrilled. She is extremely intelligent and dedicated to the animals and their owners. I was hesitant to change vets, but many friends suggested Dr. Mary. My current vets prices are getting out of hand and the employees are always changing. So I decided now would be a good chance to give it a shot and I am glad that I did. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and noticed that it didn't smell like a vet office. I did not have to wait long at all, Dr. Mary was soon on the floor first getting kissed by my Bella, which was nice to see. Bella is not usually a fan of vets, but she was not nearly as nervous a usual and the visit was over and Bella stil was giving Dr. Mary kisses. She mad Bella and me feel like family and not patrons.
