High quality, high cost. They're holistic and popular, but it can add up. My small dog needed one tooth pulled. They wanted to put him under, give him a bunch of novocain, and some other strong sedative. That's two more than I get from the human oral surgeon for much worse. And at the cost of a root canal just to pull it! I know they have to put them under for dental work, and I don't want him to be in any pain, but I could never afford to spend all that on one tooth... So he could be in more pain, because I couldn't get it done at all. Read Less

We came up for vacation and our bulldogge, Joey, was sprayed by a skunk on the first day. After scrubbing him down, his skin developed a rash that was worsening each day. I called for an appointment and the receptionist fit us in that same afternoon. When we arrived everyone was very friendly. Simone and Dr. Corey were terrific in helping Joey. This vet is terrible and doesn't even deserve one star. After spending thousands on my dog's ear infection, that wouldn't go away, they finally said, we need to test the bacteria in his ear. What? They also gave him a rabies vaccination and never gave me the tag or the paperwork. I had to request this several times. 6 months later, I finally received it. Read Less

We have been bringing our cat Brandy to Atlantic Animal Hospital for many years. I cannot say enough about the doctors and staff there. They are very understanding and caring. I always felt like Brandy was in good hands when we made our visits. This past January after having Brandy for almost 21 years we had to put him down. Atlantic Animal Hospital & Wellness Center has been a wonderful resource for me. I have brought my dogs for Wellness as well as problem-related exams with both Dr. Hoffer and Dr. Corey. Exams are thorough and relaxed while all questions are happily answered. The techs are great with the dogs and very knowledgeable. They allow me to do any minor restraint necessary. Otherwise, they make the experience so relaxed for the dogs that there is no need for restraint. Besides the handling of the dogs, the pricing is extremely reasonable and all tests/vaccinations are explained before their completion. I drive an hour, past around ten veterinary offices, because I know that I will pay fairly for exceptional services. Read Less
