I have been bringing my dogs to this vet for a while now and never had any issues, however neither have my dogs. All our visits have been routine up until about 2 years ago when my 10 year old Yorkie started scratching himself non stop. To make a long story short, the vet told me it was allergies. I informed them I have had this dog for 10 years and he has never scratched before, so I find it odd that 10 years in he develops allergies. Despite my protests and questions regarding if it could be anything else, we began him on treatment for allergies, since I had no other options and was tired of watching my dog suffer. Multiple pills, allergy tests, allergy shots, and hundreds and hundreds of dollars later, there was no change in his behavior or condition. In fact, most of the treatments made him more uncomfortable. All the while I was saying I did not think it was allergies and what else could it be. What else could we do? I finally decided to stop his allergy shots (we finished the entire 1st cycle) and brought him back in since he needed another round of antibiotics from scratching himself to shreds. I informed the vet I was done with these allergy treatments. They were doing nothing to treat him. Their solution? Why don't we do another blood test. See if anything changed. I told them no. First of all, we have done countless blood tests on this dog over the past two years and nothing was ever different, elevated, out of whack. Nothing. I told them I am done poking and prodding my dog because you don't know what is wrong with him. I was then informed, 2 years after this all started, and I got visibly upset at the vets office, that there was a dog dermatologist I could take him too. Oh really? Is there? Don't you think that would have been helpful to inform me of on DAY 1? Maybe give me some options so I could make an informed decision about how to treat my dog? Of course not, because if they did then they wouldn't have been able to take all my money for those worthless treatments. It is safe to say we are done bringing our pets to this animal hospital. I don't trust them and quite frankly I don't think they know what they are doing. Read Less
