East Greenwich Animal Hospital

East Greenwich, Rhode Island
General Info
The East Greenwich Animal Protection League (EGAPL) is a no-kill shelter whose primary goal is to find suitable placement for all unclaimed, stray, adoptable cats and dogs. We are an all volunteer league and rely solely on donations from individuals as well as money raised at our fundraisers. The Town of East Greenwich does not have a pound so we pay to board our animals at the Greenwich Bay Animal Hospital. All donations received go straight towards the care of the animals.

The last Vet that we saw in Sep 2010 was obviously nervous and I was not confident with her abilities at all. I'm tired of a completely new staff every time I visit. I've found a new vet that I will be using in the future. They are also much more expensive than other vets based on discussions with friends and family. I don't recommend this facility. Read Less

I used to take all of my cats and dogs to EGAH. They used to have different doctors working there, who were terrific. They are one of the highest priced vets, but the doctors made it worth it. Since they left and new doctors like Dr Amy came on board, the place has gone downhill. They are money hungry and suggest all kinds of tests and treatments that are not necessary just to make money. Poor customer service, expensive vet, long waits every single time I went. Glad I left them. Read Less
