Dr. Hattan and staff took my baby in right away when she was having issues. We were not clients of hers at the time. She is a life saver and took the time to explain all my options even though the office was busy!!! She also clarified some misinformation I received from another vet. I will surely keep going to them from now on. My only sadness is they do not provide ferret care. Than the whole family would have a new vet. Thank you for everything!!!! Even though it did not seem like it Ash appreciated it to.

I would not reccomend this vet. Took my dog for a free dental exam and told she needed an extraction for a fractured tooth. I was given an astronomical quote of over $800 for the extraction of the one...
I would not reccomend this vet. Took my dog for a free dental exam and told she needed an extraction for a fractured tooth. I was given an astronomical quote of over $800 for the extraction of the one tooth. (This was with a 10% discount!!!) I went for a second opinion reguarding price and found a much more reasonable vet.
Not only was the price more reasonable but they took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with my dogs tooth, not just that it was broken. I will never return to Foster Vet.

They got me in for an emergency appointment for my baby girl Peaches the mini Australian Shepherd, and they have been wonderful helping me with Peach's care. They've helped with everything from administering the fluids I'm too squeemish to do, to answering my 100 phone calls with questions. They've also helped individualize her treatment as she has food allergies and is super picky about what she eats. I highly recommend this clinic!

I have been taking my dog here for the last 9 years and they are excellent. It's a very small and rural practice so don't expect a high tech office with a ton of techs and doctors. But everyone here...
I have been taking my dog here for the last 9 years and they are excellent. It's a very small and rural practice so don't expect a high tech office with a ton of techs and doctors. But everyone here is an animal lover and Dr. Hattan is very kind and patient. Their prices are in line with other practices in the area. They don't have extended office hours or emergency services, but they are excellent for routine shots and visits. I would highly recommend Foster Vet Clinic!

Love Dr. Hattan, Ruth the receptionist, and the all the wonderful vet-techs who make me and my animals feel like family. Have been going there for years and it is truly lovely. The only negative is the impersonal office manager who they probably shouldn't let deal with clients due to her lack of people skills. Luckily, I have only had 2 convo's with her in nearly a decade. Other than that, A+++++++ all the way!

10 days ago my husband and I brought our 10 year old lab there. He was lethargic. They had to carry him in by stretcher. We thought itvwas the beginning of the end. The docter was so caring and even hugged me as i cried. Today we took him back for more tests hes now 85% back to himself. He does have lyme disease. But the medicine made him bounce right back. When we first walked in with him today the vet tech started to cry because he was soo much better. They really do care and go the extra mile. Ive never seen a vet cry happy tears because my dog is doing so much better. It ment so much to me. Raven and my family thank you all for being so caring to him. Everyone take your pets there.

Dr. Hattan and her staff have taken care of my family's pets since she purchased the practice from Dr. Gorham when I was a child.Ruth, Dr. Hattan, Gary, and others have been nothing but compassionate from the day we met them. Many of our pets have been laid to rest here and they have helped us with the process with a dignified and respectful approach.Their price point is higher than let's say, Banfield, but the service and care is second to none. I would much rather spend the extra money and extra drive (I currently live in Woonsocket) for my cat to see Dr. Hattan than drive five minutes to PetSmart.Bravo!

I want to thank you all for helping my sweet Fiona. We were on vacation in RI, camping at Ginny-B campground, when our Fiona had multiple seizures. You took care of her, like you had been caring for her, her whole life. We lost our sweet girl, and your compassion continued. Your office was closed but continued to help us find a way to have her cremated in time to take her back to NC with us in the next few days!! I cannot recommend Foster Vet higher. You know you have a caring vet when you have to go through losing a pet and you still recommend them. Not only were they great with everything to do with Selph, but they have been wonderful with Ookii as well. They don't have to deal with my shell-shocked worrying - but they do! and they do it in a way that is nice and comfortable, not condescending. Anytime we have brought a pet in for a "sick" or emergency visit they have called to check on them - and not in a "I'm just getting this over with" type of way. They are also wonderful with our son - who can be just as loud and in your face as any animal :-) But we haven't been asked to "leave him at home" like we heard from some other places. If you live in the area I REALLY REALLY recommend them.

I made my first appt. with this office about 2 months ago for my black lab dog. I was scheduled for 4pm. When we arrived promptly to our appt. time, there were two other people in the waiting room and a very sad couple that was going to have their dog put asleep. It was horrible waiting and watching this. At 5:15pm I kindly told the very strange and monotone unfriendliest receptionist I have ever met in my life that I had to pick up my daughter and I rescheduled with her not really acting apologetic??? I was shocked, but decided to give them another chance. This time, I took our new rescued kitties to see them. The Dr. was very nice, the receptionist still verrrry odd...but the bill was $464 for first visit, deworm, ear check, first distemper shot for all three. Then she wanted us to come back in 4 weeks. Happily glad that it was a good visit despite the $$$ and receptionist, I came back 3 weeks ago. Promptly arriving, again I waited ONE HOUR AND 15 MIN!!!! I could not believe it. The receptionist did not say sorry nor did she act like I even exsisted! It was so wrong on every level. At that point I said I could only have the 2nd round of shots for the three kitties and I would have to come back because of the time restraint. No apology from Dr. She acted all fake and nice and then left the building. Charged me $144 for just those three shots! I feel sick to my stomach at that appalling greed and the horrible rudeness of that woman at the front desk!!!!

Dr. Hattan and her staff have taken care of my family's pets since she purchased the practice from Dr. Gorham when I was a child.Ruth, Dr. Hattan, Gary, and others have been nothing but compassionate from the day we met them. Many of our pets have been laid to rest here and they have helped us with the process with a dignified and respectful approach.Their price point is higher than let's say, Banfield, but the service and care is second to none. I would much rather spend the extra money and extra drive (I currently live in Woonsocket) for my cat to see Dr. Hattan than drive five minutes to PetSmart.Bravo!

You took care of her, like you had been caring for her, her whole life. We lost our sweet girl, and your compassion continued. Your office was closed but continued to help us find a way to have her cremated in time to take her back to NC with us in the next few days!! I will never forget the care you gave our sweet girl in her final few hours. Thank you

I cannot recommend Foster Vet higher. You know you have a caring vet when you have to go through losing a pet and you still recommend them. Not only were they great with everything to do with Selph, but they have been wonderful with Ookii as well. They don't have to deal with my shell-shocked worrying - but they do! and they do it in a way that is nice and comfortable, not condescending. Anytime we have brought a pet in for a "sick" or emergency visit they have called to check on them - and not in a "I'm just getting this over with" type of way. They are also wonderful with our son - who can be just as loud and in your face as any animal :-) But we haven't been asked to "leave him at home" like we heard from some other places. If you live in the area I REALLY REALLY recommend them.

I made my first appt. with this office about 2 months ago for my black lab dog. I was scheduled for 4pm. When we arrived promptly to our appt. time, there were two other people in the waiting room and a very sad couple that was going to have their dog put asleep. It was horrible waiting and watching this. At 5:15pm I kindly told the very strange and monotone unfriendliest receptionist I have ever met in my life that I had to pick up my daughter and I rescheduled with her not really acting apologetic??? I was shocked, but decided to give them another chance. This time, I took our new rescued kitties to see them. The Dr. was very nice, the receptionist still verrrry odd...but the bill was $464 for first visit, deworm, ear check, first distemper shot for all three. Then she wanted us to come back in 4 weeks. Happily glad that it was a good visit despite the $$$ and receptionist, I came back 3 weeks ago. Promptly arriving, again I waited ONE HOUR AND 15 MIN!!!! I could not believe it. The receptionist did not say sorry nor did she act like I even exsisted! It was so wrong on every level. At that point I said I could only have the 2nd round of shots for the three kitties and I would have to come back because of the time restraint. No apology from Dr. She acted all fake and nice and then left the building. Charged me $144 for just those three shots! I feel sick to my stomach at that appalling greed and the horrible rudeness of that woman at the front desk!!!!
