The doctor is excellent. She has seen my dog many times and is right on with diagnosis. She takes the time to explain and discuss everything. Her staff is very helpful and nice. What I like they don't overbook so unlike other vet offices you sit and you sit.

They are wonderful and compassionate. I had to put my sick 19 year old cat to sleep. They made a terrible time as peaceful as you could possibly ask for.

I started bringing my 3 dogs to CAH after a bad experience with another vet last year and I could not be more pleased! Dr. Matyia and her staff are WONDERFUL with the animals and always take the time to perform a thorough examination and answer any questions. I have a very energetic, maniac of a boxer who can be difficult to handle and keep control over at vet appointments and the staff has always managed to handle him with undending patience, care, and kindness. I highly recommend taking you pets to CAH.

Dr. Matyia is the best veterinarian I've ever had. She takes wonderful care of my dogs, calls to check up after problems or incidents, works with you on medications and treatments. The staff is excellent also and my dogs love to go there!! No more vet anxiety. She is a special person with a great gift for animals. I highly recommend Dr. Matyia. If I moved from Richmond, I would travel the state to bring my pets to her.

We love Dr Matyia & her amazing staff. The office is set up nicely where you enter through one door and leave through another....so there is no interaction between your pet and other pets. Our dogs love going to the vet! Every vet tech there is gentle and caring. They know our dogs by name and always show them extra love and attention.

Dr. Matyia and her staff are simply the best. My family and I have been taking our pets to CAH for 10 years and the care and attentiveness they have demonstrated has been nothing short of stellar, always. I have two cats: one who is small and scared of everyone and everything and another who is large and difficult to manage at appointments (he's actually been asked not to return to clinics where we now live); Dr. Matyia and the staff have always managed to handle both cats with care, patience, and gentleness. Dr. Matyia is THOROUGH with her examinations, taking the time to talk with owners about concerns and/or observations but she also exercises good judgment and common sense when it comes to procedures and treatments. I always leave the office feeling that my cats' health and well-being have been given proper attention and that my kitties have been through a lot less stress than they've been in other clinics. And CAH goes above and beyond "routine" care: Dr. Matyia and staff have always gone the extra mile with follow-up calls and advice upon request...even without an appointment. I should add that if it weren't for everyone at CAH, my little cat wouldn't be on my lap at this moment; for that, I am truly grateful. The only downside about Chariho Animal Hospital? The fact that they're not located out here in Oregon. 5 stars all the way!

I started bringing my 3 dogs to CAH after a bad experience with another vet last year and I could not be more pleased! Dr. Matyia and her staff are WONDERFUL with the animals and always take the time to perform a thorough examination and answer any questions. I have a very energetic, maniac of a boxer who can be difficult to handle and keep control over at vet appointments and the staff has always managed to handle him with undending patience, care, and kindness. Dr. Matyia is the best veterinarian I've ever had. She takes wonderful care of my dogs, calls to check up after problems or incidents, works with you on medications and treatments. The staff is excellent also and my dogs love to go there!! No more vet anxiety. She is a special person with a great gift for animals. I highly recommend Dr. Matyia. If I moved from Richmond, I would travel the state to bring my pets to her.

We love Dr Matyia & her amazing staff. The office is set up nicely where you enter through one door and leave through another....so there is no interaction between your pet and other pets. Our dogs love going to the vet! Every vet tech there is gentle and caring. They know our dogs by name and always show them extra love and attention.

My family and I have been taking our pets to CAH for 10 years and the care and attentiveness they have demonstrated has been nothing short of stellar, always.
