My regular vet Dr Lopes and all the vet techs are consistently really good - especially Linda! But we had an emergency episode this evening - my dog appeared to be seizing and wasn't able to walk. We were given an urgent appointment which was an hour before the facility was to close. Dr Green was the vet who saw my dog - I must say that SHE IS AWESOME! She took one look at my dog and was able to diagnose Vestibular disease right away, not only saving our sanity but saving us a trip to OSVS and possibly further North (we live in Wakefield)....she assessed him in the back of our truck and returned to give him an injection - in the pouring rain! Forgive my vernacular, but she is one hell of a good Veterinarian - very personable and professional - and undoubtedly dedicated to all of our furry family members. I highly recommend this facility.

This Hospital and South County cannot see my dog, who has been in a long line of our dogs who have been patients, for four to five days, because they are too booked. I explained she is lethargic and has severe diarrhea. Their suggestion is to go to an emergency hospital where we will have to pay emergency fees. Despite the fact that Dr. Otis, Dr. Roy, and Dr. Greene have been my dogs' (three different dogs over the years) doctors for 15 years, they are denying service because they are too booked. Such nice people, so poorly run. Completely unreliable when you truly need them.

Why they have such an unpleasant person working the front desk is beyond me. If answering one question is beyond your capacity than maybe you should be working in the back.

The staff is helpful and very informative. Heather lopes is our vet and she's absolutely amazing. When we had to come to the decision of putting our pup down she was right there with us with support and a hug. I trust these guys with the lives of my furry family. Their interest is in the animals. Recently we have gotten a new dog and after me expressing how much she hates her flea meds applied the tech in front offered us nexguard a chewable flea and tick med. And we only had to buy one to see if shed eat it. Talk about an easier out come! Thanks WCV staff for all your hard and dedicated work.

I have been visiting Washington County Vet for just over a year now. With three dogs I have had well over a dozen appointments and visits for all different types of care, including routine checkups, surgeries and sadly for one dog passing. Every time I leave I always think to myself what an easy, professional visit it was. The front desk staff is always professional and knowledgeable as well as friendly and courteous. My appointments have always been on time - no waiting around for 30 minutes to be seen. When scheduling for 3 different dogs I haven't always wanted to wait to see the same doctor so I've seen three different doctors and each individual has been great. Totally friendly, knowledgeable, not rushed and always open to listening and working with you on a care plan. While I can't comment on the boarding or pet sitting, I do trust the vet hospital implicitly with my pets and have always been impressed when I leave.

I want to thank him so very much!! Dr. Otis will from now on be all my fur babies doctor thank you very much again from the bottom of my heart.. I cannot thank you enough. I recently lost my baby of 11 years, Mable, who had been treated here for the last 3 years. On the day I lost her, the Vet Tech/Nurse/Savior (and I don't even remember her name) could NOT have been more amazing, offering me so much comfort and love. And leading up to that, my regular vet was so caring and considerate. They sent me a lovely card after she passed. They really do an excellent job.

Very bad experience here. Dog got hit by a car we brought him there immediately and they did not do much treatment on him. They should know how to talk to people nicely when a tragedy like this happens. We then decided to bring my dog to another place. Once we pulled around the back to get my dog, I watched my dog walk himself with his back leg completely hanging off while the vets were just watching. My dog broke his fibula and tibia on his backlog. Once we got to ocean state vet in eg the vets came right up to my car with a gerney... That is the right way to get a dog safely into the emergency room. I highly recommend Ocean State Veterinary in East Greenwhich, they give you updates every 5-10 minutes on your dog and take great care of your pets.

My sweet 6 year old golden retriever was feeling ill and wouldn't eat for a couple of days along with other symptoms. The wonderful staff and veterinarians at Washington County Veterinary Hospital took us in immediately and provided sound and caring service and advice for my pup. My pup needed emergency surgery at OSVH on Sunday where they removed a very large rope toy and my sweet boy is on a good path to recovery. I've been going to WCVH and South County Veterinary Hospital for the care of my pets since I moved here over 11 years ago. I've been involved with animals and veterinarians for most of my life. The staff at WCVH and SCVH are consistently above and beyond the best in all aspects that I have ever met. Thank you for providing extended hours. Thank you for maintaining the most professional and knowledgeable staff as well as their kindhearted care. I feel truly blessed and thankful for all of your help and guidance.

My fur baby had his surgery today to remove a fairly large sized tumor off his right back hock. Everything went very well. I can't thank Dr Heather Lopes-Troob from Washington County Veterinary hospital enough as well as all the staff. Dr Lopes is truly an amazing DVM. She's thorough, loving, caring, sympathetic and understanding. She always has our animals health and care in her best interest and takes great care of them. My fur baby will be back to his playful self before you know it. Thank you.

I took my new "baby", Johnny, for a new patient visit and was very pleased. The building is clean and modern and the front desk staff was attentive and efficient. Dr. Pastorello is fantastic. She took the time to examine my parent's Minskin Cat Sammy and correctly identify his skin condition and prescribe the proper medicine. We had been to several other doctors who were no help. She went over and above to call Sammy's New York vet and coordinate treatment (he's a traveling cat). Thank you again Dr. Pastorello!!! The woman who answered the phone said they would see only pets that have been there before. Our dog needs to end her suffering now. This place is to be avoided by animal lovers.

I have been visiting Washington County Vet for just over a year now. With three dogs I have had well over a dozen appointments and visits for all different types of care, including routine checkups, surgeries and sadly for one dog passing. Every time I leave I always think to myself what an easy, professional visit it was. The front desk staff is always professional and knowledgeable as well as friendly and courteous. My appointments have always been on time - no waiting around for 30 minutes to be seen. When scheduling for 3 different dogs I haven't always wanted to wait to see the same doctor so I've seen three different doctors and each individual has been great. Totally friendly, knowledgeable, not rushed and always open to listening and working with you on a care plan. While I can't comment on the boarding or pet sitting, I do trust the vet hospital implicitly with my pets and have always been impressed when I leave.

I had to take my baby mama there last night and Dr. Otis took care of her. He not only gave me assurance and closure of my baby he treated her and me with so much respect. I want to thank him so very much!! Dr. Otis will from now on be all my fur babies doctor thank you very much again from the bottom of my heart.. I cannot thank you enough. I wasn't sure I was making the best decision for my baby but he assured me. I will be recommending Dr. Otis to everyone I know that has a fur baby..

I recently lost my baby of 11 years, Mable, who had been treated here for the last 3 years. On the day I lost her, the Vet Tech/Nurse/Savior (and I don't even remember her name) could NOT have been more amazing, offering me so much comfort and love. And leading up to that, my regular vet was so caring and considerate. They sent me a lovely card after she passed. They really do an excellent job.

Very bad experience here. Dog got hit by a car we brought him there immediately and they did not do much treatment on him. They should know how to talk to people nicely when a tragedy like this happen...
Very bad experience here. Dog got hit by a car we brought him there immediately and they did not do much treatment on him. They should know how to talk to people nicely when a tragedy like this happens. We then decided to bring my dog to another place. Once we pulled around the back to get my dog, I watched my dog walk himself with his back leg completely hanging off while the vets were just watching. My dog broke his fibula and tibia on his backlog. Once we got to ocean state vet in eg the vets came right up to my car with a gerney... That is the right way to get a dog safely into the emergency room. I highly recommend Ocean State Veterinary in East Greenwhich, they give you updates every 5-10 minutes on your dog and take great care of your pets.

Never disappointed! Love it here! There are many Veterinary places in Cranston but I would rather make the trip down there...I never feel judged as a pet owner while there and to me its about the best...

My sweet 6 year old golden retriever was feeling ill and wouldn't eat for a couple of days along with other symptoms. The wonderful staff and veterinarians at Washington County Veterinary Hospital took us in immediately and provided sound and caring service and advice for my pup. My pup needed emergency surgery at OSVH on Sunday where they removed a very large rope toy and my sweet boy is on a good path to recovery. I've been going to WCVH and South County Veterinary Hospital for the care of my pets since I moved here over 11 years ago. I've been involved with animals and veterinarians for most of my life. The staff at WCVH and SCVH are consistently above and beyond the best in all aspects that I have ever met. Thank you for providing extended hours. Thank you for maintaining the most professional and knowledgeable staff as well as their kindhearted care. I feel truly blessed and thankful for all of your help and guidance.

My fur baby had his surgery today to remove a fairly large sized tumor off his right back hock. Everything went very well. I can't thank Dr Heather Lopes-Troob from Washington County Veterinary hospital enough as well as all the staff. Dr Lopes is truly an amazing DVM. She's thorough, loving, caring, sympathetic and understanding. She always has our animals health and care in her best interest and takes great care of them. My fur baby will be back to his playful self before you know it. Thank you.

I took my new "baby", Johnny, for a new patient visit and was very pleased. The building is clean and modern and the front desk staff was attentive and efficient. I really appreciated Dr. Roy's calm confident manner and never felt rushed. I am new to the area but I don't have to search for a vet practice any longer! Checkout was a breeze and I was very satisfied! The only reason I am not doing 5 stars is because we've only been there once!

Dr. Pastorello is fantastic. She took the time to examine my parent's Minskin Cat Sammy and correctly identify his skin condition and prescribe the proper medicine. We had been to several other doctors who were no help. She went over and above to call Sammy's New York vet and coordinate treatment (he's a traveling cat). Thank you again Dr. Pastorello!!! The woman who answered the phone said they would see only pets that have been there before. Our dog needs to end her suffering now. This place is to be avoided by animal lovers.

I kennel led my dog here once too and was very pleased with the Boarding and care. Easy to get evening appointments here too as they are open till 8PM
