I had been taking my 3 cats to a different vet, and after being over charged multiple times for no results with my cats I switched to West Paws. Both Dr Paradises are wonderful, it took one thorough visit with Danielle to come up with a plan for each cat and after some different procedures and medication changes they are all happy and healthy and I don't have to worry about them anymore! I truly believe WestPaws is as good as it gets. As a first time dog mom I have called WestPaws with numerous questions and concerns in regards to my puppy Sadie. I am constantly asking questions that seem stupid to me but are always met with such caring and thoughtful responses from Dr. Clarissa Williams. Every time Sadie and I enter the office everyone is so sweet and welcoming. I trust Dr. Williams so much and Sadie absolutely enjoys going (even though most of her experience has been receiving shots). WestPaws is also affordable! I have gone multiple times since I got Sadie since she is only a puppy and I have never spent over $180. They have special prices for first time dog owners and they trim Sadie's nails free of charge each visit! My husband brought our dog there today for some blood tests because we suspected something was wrong, I called all around in the morning after a few failed attempts to get our dog seen other places, I stumbled upon WestPaws. They were the only ones who were understanding and had an open appointment and were glad to take a look at him. They were very informative and helpful with making sure we understood what we had to do, we even learned a few things about our dog that we were unaware of because we rescued him back in September. Terrible!! Their vet tech should listen to their clients when they tell the tech how their pet is reacting and what they should do. When the tech doesn't listen to you and the pet reacts in a frightened manner, don't blame their pet. It is your fault! Unprofessional!!!! Absolutely horrible! Brought in my 14 year old INDOOR ONLY cat here for his shots and to check out a cyst he has on his tail. After repeatedly telling the techs that he was not a happy cat and didn't like strangers and I told them I had to wear gloves myself to get him in his carrier, which I also told them they should also wear gloves. But they chose not to wear any gloves at all. So, unsurprisingly he bit the vet tech. My cat didn't get any shots, no blood work was done, I was only told how much he weighted and I was charged $80! Then was told that Animal control would be called because of the bite. So now because of their stupidity Animal Control wants to take my 14 year old INDOOR CAT and quarantine him! AGAIN, my INDOOR cat who never goes outside! Thanks for nothing. Obviously I will be changing Veterinarians. Bring back Doctor Dan. A vet that actually cared about our animals. Read Less

If you love your pet, and care for them as an extended member of your family, then WestPaws is an excellent choice for veterinary care. I've been using this location to care for my pups for almost 20 years. (originally it was West Bay Animal Hospital, under Dr Dan Simpson)I've always had dogs, and have had to seek care for them for both routine and emergent care, and have found that the priority at many veterinary places is money, more than the actual well-being of the pets.West bay, and Dr Dan Simpson, was an exception - the care for pets and their well-being was paramount. When Dr Simpson retired, Mark and Danielle Paradise established WestPaws, and continue to provide excellent and affordable care for their patients and their owners.The Doctors, technicians, and staff are personable, compassionate, and thorough.While there are undoubtedly, other good veterinary services available, there are none that are "better" then these caring people.
