Despite what Mr. Fitzgerald says I think they have a excellent front staff. People have bad days and I think it's rude that you've mentioned the same person on two separate occasions when the second time she spoke and said hello. This is a great place that I enjoy coming to and the front staff always welcomes me and my pet with nothing but love. I think that you, Mr. Fitzgerald, need to keep in consideration that sometimes people may just be having a bad day. Vet visit was great. The ONLY thing that they lack is a friendly front desk. The young lady at check out is clearly lacking in customer service knowledge. She doesn't perform basic hi how are you or thank you. Too many good courteous people want a job and would be better to represent this company. Read Less

I have been using Dr Timmberman for over 20 years. I also love Dr Grover. The last three times I went I seen a vet I don't even know.  Two of them times where to put down two beloved pets with in a week of each other.  I have to say the last few times I have visited or called I was met with rude people in the office.  They haven't been any help at all. I'm walking away sad because it's the only place my 15 year old dog knows but it seems if you can get past the girls in the office to get to Dr Timmerman or Grover then they are great. the experience I had putting down my fur babies was very bad but just today I called to ask about getting something for a hot spot and they can't help without charging me $78 to see her and they couldn't get her in for over a week.  Walked right into a vet I've never seen before and they gave me something to help and gave me app for tomorrow. Great care and service. The only thing I would say is that they should stress that the flea and heart worm meds are "extra" aside from the new puppy visits cost. The cost surprised me at checkout because I was expecting the prices quoted for puppy visits. However, they DID ask me if I wanted it again for Bella before they gave it to her.Read Less

Wasnt sure who to take my 5mth old lion head bunny to being a male and only a couple of pounds to b neutered. I personally know the owners and they said they have a young girl who is great and would do a great job. Beni is doing wonderful after a week with no complications and had no meds. Aiken Vet is total care for our dogs and cats. We have been their patrons for nearly 50 years. They've always showed how much they value our pets and treat them like family! Over the years we have lost some, and the vets and staff there have cried along with us. We always get a sympathy card from them with all the signatures. That's a little thing, but it really means a lot. You can call any time night or day and you will get through to a vet and vet tech who will advise you as to the steps to take and will see them as soon as possible. We have Dr Timmerman for close to 8 yrs and love Dr Timmerman, Dr Grover and Staff.  We have lost a few pet's and every time I can see what they are feeing at that time in the eyes and I love that they will cry with us and give the best hugs.  But on the up note every time we add a new family pet I can see the joy in all from ck in to ck out.  Love y'all! Hands down the best veterinarian in Aiken.  We have been using him for over 14 years and he has helped us save one dog from a near life ending injury; and is helping us with our much older purebreed Aussie.  Dr Timmerman and his staff have won the Aiken Best of the Best award several years running, and deserve every one of them.  I always recommend his clinic to anyone looking for vererinary services. Everyone is very nice and compassionate towards the owners and pets.They are truthful and will do everything they can to save everyone even if they only have a few months or years to live they will tell you the signs to look for but when the end comes they will be upfront and very compassionate and they truely understand that the furbabies are family.We only have the sickest and the throwaways so we are there alot!They are all very wonderful humane beings and are our angels!
