When we got our first cat, we needed to have her checked, spayed, and vaccinated. We got suckered into the Wellness Plan. We asked that it NOT be set up for recurring payments, and we asked to be notified before the end of the term. We were assured that was standard and would happen. However, at the end of the term, we received no notification, and the plan automatically renewed. When we called to cancel, we were told that you have to cancel before the end of the term, and if we cancelled right away, we would have to pay out the balance of the current term-a full year's worth. We decided to keep it and cancel at the end of that year. In the mean time, we rescued a second cat. Sadly, he loves to bite. He was a rescue, so we don't know what happened before we got him, but whatever it was, it has made him very defensive and scared of unfamiliar people. We explained this to the vets, the techs, and the front desk staff. Still, they did not heed our warnings, and he bit at one of the techs. Thank goodness the tech moved away quickly because if your animal bites someone, even if it is the person's fault, your animal is the one that is punished. They would not let us be in the room while he was getting his exam, and we could hear him meowing desperately in the back. I know our anxiety over the visit didn't help, but when the staff doesn't offer you any sort of reassurance or explanations, it doesn't help. I know other people have had great experiences here. Unfortunately, ours was not great. I would advise against getting the wellness plan, and if you have a nervous, anxious, or easily upset pet, I would recommend going elsewhere.Read Less
