Out of all the different vet's I've taken any of my dogs to, this is by far the best. They are very friendly, care about your pet & don't snub you for not purchasing a $40 prescription from them when the same thing is $4 OTC. They are very cheap, explain everything clearly and go the extra mile to make your pet comfortable. They answer even the simplest questions respectfully. I felt the Vet was unprofessional and rude to me. I desire to have my dogs get their shots every 3 years when their shot for rabies shot. The reason for my request is due to the research on how it causes Anemia in dogs that get their shots every year. When I expressed my concern to the Vet, she asked me if I had my masters degree in immunology, and I told her no, but that I did have my BSN in nursing. and that I had studied physiology and did understand the immune system. What kind of Vet says things like that to a new patient? Then the additional charges were so over the top. I would never go back to this rude, expensive vet, EVER. Read Less

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET THERE! They were the vet for my cat for years. Ran in one day as they were closing with my cat that was struggling to breath. First they tried to send me out of there. Then, when I knew he would die they sent me to ER vet to put him to sleep. He died on the way in my arms. So very cold! Read Less

We have had five dogs at AMC starting in 1997. The techs and vets were by our side and provided comfort when we lost the original three. With our current Labradoodles, the staff is always polite and accommodating when scheduling appointments. They greet Emmah Grace and Tanner with enthusiasm(#Jamie). The techs are very knowledgeable and thorough in providing information (#Rebecca, Charlene, and Elizabeth ). Love the vets as they are personable, straight forward, and truly care about all pets. I've been taking my pup here for a year now - they are very friendly from the front desk to the back rooms.  My pup gets stressed/startles very easily so vet visits are never really 'fun' for her but they do their best to make her comfortable with sweet talk, treats, and lots of loving :)Their prices are a bit higher for the regular vaccines, and the only surgery I've ever received a quote for was really pricey (they quoted me about $600 to get my dog spayed - I took her to Charleston Animal Society and got her spayed there for $100) but I go there for her vaccines because of the customer service and location.   Also - I have had to wait 30+ minutes for the actual vet to see her - so wait time once called back is an issue I've experienced. I also really like that they take detailed notes on the laptop on everything you tell them/they tell you for each visit - very transparent and I appreciate that aspect a lot.  Overall I recommend - I'd definitely shop around for different pricing for surgeries (without compromising your pet's health/services received of course), but for regular check up/minor issues I go there without question. We brought our two new kittens, Jasmine and Marigold, in for their first kitten check up today. We have be clients of Animal Medical Clinic of Goose Creek for many years. We had the most wonderful visit today and got so much information especially about socializing our new kittens with our older cats. Marigold did not enjoy her shot, but they both very much enjoyed playing with toys and getting a treat. It is so good to have a clinic that we can depend on for care and also great support and sympathy when an older pet passes away. I can not begin to express my appreciation for the level of care and concern we have been shown from the Animal Medical Clinic of Goose Creek. Dr. MacGeorge is the best Vet I have ever encountered. We had been with another Vet practice locally and not satisifed with the care received. So I asked around and found AMC of GC. Forgive me for being long winded, but I have so much to share!! I have a dog with a very unusual name that no one can pronounce. After 1 year with another Vet they still could not say my dogs name. Upon calling the AMC to make our first appt the receptionist asked me to say his name slowly and spell it. On our first visit she said his name correctly, and so did Dr. MacGeorge! I know it sounds silly, but to trust someone, you want them to say your name properly. Otherwise it doesn't feel personal, it doesn't feel like they care.So we have 3 dogs that see Dr. MacGeorge, we have been through emergencies, surgeries, infe...ctions, regular vaccines, etc... With any emergency, Dr. MacGeorge has always called us a few days later to check on our fur babies.on Saturday, 8/18/2012, we had to take our 11 year old Beagle to the emergency clinic in Mt. Pleasant. Unfortunatly we did not bring our baby back home with us. Would you believe that today, Tuesday 8/21/2012, Dr. MacGeorge called me to express his condoleneces! The Emergency clinic had sent paperwork to his office. Dr. MacGeorge was, as always, caring and kind, but more importantly, he was sympathetic! He referenced things from conversations we'd had in the past during our appointments. My dogs are not there on a regular basis, yet he remembers them and us as if we were friends. That kind of care can not be replaced. Dr. Macgeorge, Thank you for taking such great care of our angel Charlie and we will continue to see you with Sammy and Putim. Dr. Sauls is by far the best vet I have ever been to with my pets. Between my wife and I we have been to several different vets over the years and none have even come close to the level of care Dr Sauls gives to her patients. She truly does care for your pet like they are your children! She has gone above and beyond for each of our pets and their special needs including calling specialists for us, following up on her personal time via her cell phone, emails when we couldn't get to our phone due to the birth of our child, and even assisting in finding a new vet in the town we are moving to. I feel like I will never find another vet like Dr. Sauls no matter where I live. She is absolutely the best vet anyone could ask for with an excellent staff at AMC by her side!!! Read Less

We have been nothing but completely satisfied x100 with AMC of Goose Creek. They went above and beyond what I ever expected, and treat our Staceycat and Mollymoo like their own. The staff is always so welcoming, friendly, and professional. Dr. Kahuda takes the time with you and your pet during an appointment to make sure you are informed, and that you feel comfortable with everything before you leave. I am confident in her abilities and she is someone that I trust. We take both our cat and dog there for check-ups. We also leave our dog there (Goose Creek Bed and Biscuit) when we go out of town. They are so good about posting pictures and keeping us informed online. I am totally comfortable with leaving our furry little guys there as I know they are being taken care of, but most importantly, LOVED. You can tell that everyone at AMC of Goose Creek loves the animals as their own. It really is a blessing to have found such a place! I went there needing a blood analysis for my dog, and I couldn't have been happier with how we were treated. The staff was very friendly and professional, it made visiting the vet a joy. They were very thorough and attentive, I've never received that level of care at any other vet office before. The vet's spent a lot of time with me and did a great job explaining everything, and you get the feeling that they really do love animals and enjoy their jobs.
