Hardeeville Veterinary Clinic

Hardeeville, South Carolina
General Info
Small changes in energy levels, appetite, and posture make Hardeeville pet owners reach out to Hardeeville Veterinary Clinic for assistance. As a result, the company has developed and implemented specific care programs that are trusted by numerous pet owners throughout South Carolina. During the initial visits, the clinic team checks several distinct patterns, including rest time, food drive, toy interest, social responsiveness, and overall body language. The examination focuses on joint flexibility and coat condition, ear sensitivity and muscle tension, and hydration levels through the gums and eyes. Thus, the inability or reluctance of a dog to climb stairs, low engagement in physical activities, and avoidance of touch are the early signs that allow owners to prepare for future actions. The Hardeeville Veterinary Clinic offers wellness scheduling, screenings and preventive bloodwork, dental reviews, orthopedic care, and behavior-informed treatment paths. Recommendations change with lifestyle (like apartment living vs. not). pless pets yard space, residences with multiple animal companions or itineraries filled with frequent travel. To make sure no excessive planning, they adjust the care rhythm to fit each pet’s temperament, attention span, and home pacing. Through time, the Clinic builds detailed profiles of the pet’s behavior and health baselines in order to make recommendations that are in line with owner family priorities. Every aspect—from energy levels and sound reactivity to appetite changes—matters in building a care strategy that balances efficiency and emotional connection. Hardeeville Veterinary Clinic in Hardeeville, SC assists families to establish veterinary practice methods that align with lifestyle and pet psychology for more effective visits. Services include Cardiology, In-House Pharmacy, and Livestock/Farm Animal Care. Thanks to this diversity, Hardeeville residents and the people from neighboring areas can rely on the clinic for everything they need. Our clinic strives to help animals live healthy, comfortable lives in Hardeeville and the surrounding areas.

I would never in a million years recommend this clinic to ANYONE. We had our new puppy neutered there, and it was absolutely horribly done. The vet was careless with his/her surgery, and did not make sure that there was nothing bleeding before closing up his skin incision. Because of this, and the fact that there WAS something still bleeding in there, his scrotum swelled to 6-7x the size it was BEFORE he was neutered. He also had horrendous bruising. Not to mention the surgical grade 'super glue' that was used to close his incision was a caked on mess like someone just threw it on there in a glob and called it good. The vet didn't even come out to tell us how he did during his surgery or call us about him when he was all done. Also, when I got there, he was being kept in a kennel in a back storage room where they keep all the bags of feed. I could hear him crying in there when we got there. When they brought him to me, his backside was completely covered in poop and expressed anal gland fluid (we had asked them to do this for us) that nobody had cleaned up. I brought him outside immediately after seeing this, and he peed and pooped as soon as he hit the grass, so obviously no one had cared enough to take him out and the poor guy was trying to hold it in, hence getting it all over his backside. The Vet Tech did confirm that he had not had an accident in his kennel, so we knew he was trying to hold it. Lastly, when he got home, he drank 2-3 ENTIRE bowls of water. Clearly he had NOT been given a drop of water since his surgery in the morning. Vets take vows to promote the health, well-being, and safety of animals they care for, and I can safely say this vet (and the staff) did ANYTHING but that. Careless, unobservant, and not even meeting the basic needs such as water for my poor puppy. I come from the human medical world, and if I treated my patient the same way they treated my pup, it would mean a lawsuit for malpractice, etc. faster than you could imagine. Just because they are animals does not mean they deserve to be treated like so. He was a rescue and has already had a hard life, he doesn't need anymore mistreatment. For anyone reading this, if you want an absolutely amazing vet, go anywhere but here. I'd suggest somewhere in Savannah (which is where we took our pup to get his neuter hack job by this vet evaluated). Read Less
