They are too expensive, not really that nice, don't return phone calls and nickel and dime you to death. They even charge $10 to write a prescription (I'm talking about a $4 antibiotic), solely so you will buy it from them at a 500% mark up. After an okay visit with the Vet and being charged over $200 to look at some hot spots on my dog, I called back to get a prescription that I hadn't wanted to pay $10 for, but realized a week later that my dog did need it. I felt bad that I had been so against paying extra money that I returned the prescription and asked for a refund, but my dog needed it, so I called to see if I could come back and get it. I called on Friday, left message, no call back. Called on Saturday, left message, no call back. Called Monday before they even opened, left message, no call back. I never once said anything about the charge in ANY of my messages, I just wanted the medicine for my dog. I've never felt so riped off and disgusted by a veterinary office. I have three animals one of which is 13 years old & I've never been treated so poorly. And I've never been charged extra for writing a prescription. Isn't that just part of the scope of their job as health care practitioners? As a pharmacist I think that what they are doing by charging for a prescription and charging ridiculously high prices for very cheap meds is unethical. Read Less
