We’ve been taking our pets here for about 3/4 years now. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, our dog absolutely loves going to see the vet! I wouldn’t trust my animals with anyone else.

Called to schedule an appointment to have our three little dogs nails cuts. I asked how much it would be and was told $13. Well as we were checking out after the dogs had their nails cut, we were then told the price which was $111. All we had done was three nail cuts, and a heart worm test. Apparently Live Oak adds a $19 fee to nail trims per dog. So when it was all said and done, we paid $32 PER DOG to have their nails cut. I called back the next day to cancel our upcoming dental appointment for one of the dogs and asked why we weren’t told about the $19 tech fee. She said, “Oh well we have new technicians and it must have slipped their minds.” Well this type of shady business practice has not slipped mine, and I will be sure to let everyone know that Live Oak charges $32 for a nail trim PER DOG.

They turned a full on nightmare into an easily forgettable bad dream. They worked with us when everyone else seemed like they didn't care about the situation at all.
We adopted a young cat and then the cat was playing on the stairs and caused my wife to fall down the stairs, landing on the cat in the process. We immediately went to the Animal E.R. in the middle of the night with an obviously broken cat leg and a very sore wife. They charged us for a visit and told to wanted 3 times what Live Oak charged us up front with no guarantee at all. We left due to the financial dead end. We looked all over the next day with no luck, everyone we called wanted 1200 to 1800 upfront without even looking. We called Live Oak in hopes they could work with us and thank God they did. We were able to pay for services rendered as they came, the way you would expect business would be done. Total it was still less than the other places and they honestly did a great job making sure our pet and ourselves were comfortable and as happy as possible given the situation.
Fact 1: our cat never saw an orthopedic surgeon.
Fact 2: six weeks later and she is now cast free with a straight leg.
Fact 3: our total out of pocket expense is about half of our up front cost to start quotes from about a dozen other places. Fact 4: The staff kept my wife and Myself at peace, not an easy accomplishment.
We are relieved to see our cat back to her old frisky, rambunctious self!

I don't think they know how to use a phone unless it's to make more money. I got 2 of my cats spayed and neutered about 2 weeks ago. They said they would call me when they were ready to be picked up, I had to call them 15 minutes before they closed to find out they were ready. Then they said they would call the day after and again a couple days after that to check on them and still never heard from them. The only time they called me was right before the procedure to see if I wanted them to administer a rabies shot, even though I had already asked about doing that before hand and was told they would rather not give shots one the same day as procedure.

Our first time visiting was awesome! They took great care of our dog and kitten. We just move to Moncks Corner and are so happy we found the Vet that's right for us. Dr.Glover was very knowledgeable and treated our animals like family. I'd recommend them to everyone.

I've been taking my Min-Pin, Daisy here since I think 2013. I wouldn't think of ever taking her anywhere else. Dr. Glover and all her staff are always willing to help over the phone or in person, and genuinely seem to care. After having to take Daisy to the Emergency Vet for an overnight visit, someone including Dr. Glover called several times over the following weeks to check and make sure Daisy was ok. The phone calls were above and beyond what I ever expected. I've always felt all the staff truly care about their patients.

We've been bringing our pups to the Live Oak Vet Clinic since 2009 and fell in love with Dr. Heather and her staff and the way they treat our pups. Dr. Raymond was an AWESOME addition to the team! Now, I am heartbroken because I found out this morning that he will be leaving the clinic. The clinic will not be the same without Dr. Raymond :(

I wish i could choose 0 stars. We went to the emergency vet last night at 10:30 pm. The doctor took x-rays, checked vitals, checked heart rate. They kept my dog over night and released her at 8 in the morning and said she was stable and needed to see a vet So i scheduled an appointment at 9:30am at this unprofessional so called vet office. They didn't see me till after 10:15am. The vet said that all her vitals were good and that they would start her on antibiotics and fluids. They didn't have medicine on hand and had to go get it. We told them and signed the paper to do whatever it takes to keep her alive. So apparently everyone in the office goes to lunch at the same time and allowed my DOG to die with no assistance nor anyone there to comfort her. Then they didn't have the common courtesy to call us. We call to check on our dog at 3pm to find out that our dog passed away. And all the doctor can say is I'm sorry she passed as i was away at lunch. Even though there was a pet (my dog) in critical condition. IF YOU WANT YOUR PET TO HAVE A FIGHTING CHANCE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. THANK YOU FOR NOT DOING EVERYTHING THAT YOU SAID YOU WAS GOING TO DO. R.I.P. MY PUPPY

I am new to Moncks Corner and had to do a quick search for a vet when my cat suddenly became very ill. I was very worried taking him somewhere I had never been because we all want the best care for our animals. Both Dr. Raymond and Dr. Glover were so kind and compassionate, and everyone else there took a personal interest in my cats care. They let you know what everything will cost so there is no surprises when you go to pay. Unfortunately we had to end up putting my cat down, but everyone was so unbelievably caring and comforting to me and Bubbles. She allowed me to hold him through the entire process. I am about to adopt another cat and will be bringing her to see them on a regular basis! Highly recommend this team

Dr. Raymond will be our go to vet from now on! He is compassionate, caring, and very knowledgable. I am so impressed with the staff and overall care given at Live Oak Veterinary. The follow up on my sick dog is beyond what I have ever experienced elsewhere. All I can say is WOW! Thank you Live Oak Veterinary for being amazing! Skeeter and Rosebud love you!!

Tigger visited them a few weeks ago for a sore paw. I think he thought the place and the people were pretty cool. He busted his cat carrier so he could look around. He purred all through his exam and just, overall, had a wonderful time. Dr. Glover and her staff were wonderful to Tigger and me. We have finally found a vet we can relate to.

I have been taking both of my dogs to Live Oak for 3 years, I feel like I am taking my pets to the family doctor, all of the staff take a personal interest and I have always been satisfied with the result and they are very reasonably priced. If you are interested in good health care for your pets with personal attention, take them here. I have tried another in the area and wound up sitting in a crowded waiting area, large staff, and the environment really made the dogs anxious.

We have 2 dogs and went to see Dr. Raymond at Live Oak on 06/06/15. When we got our dogs a few years ago we decided to try out a vet in Goose Creek, which was closer to home. It was a decent experience but felt like some things the vet recommended weren't actually necessary. As a results, we decided to try out Live Oak and couldn't have had a better experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Raymond has a genuine heart for his clients and their animals. He is very candid about what tests/vaccines/procedures are necessary and what can be skipped. He's not in the business of wasting your money or time and our dogs both love him! I would give them 6 stars if that was an option.

Doctor Glover is fantastic! I have 3 dogs, all 3 love to go to the vet. This is one of the few places I have been where appointments are on time and the vet takes time to answer all of my questions....

I was very worried taking him somewhere I had never been because we all want the best care for our animals. Both Dr. Raymond and Dr. Glover were so kind and compassionate, and everyone else there took a personal interest in my cats care. I had to brinbring my cat in for bladder ininfection. They treated me and Itty bitty,my cat, with caring knowledge and real concern. They took time to make sure I understood plan of action and reason for it. Would recommend them to anyone new to the area.

The staff was amazing! They were so helpful and understanding. I just moved to the area from Mt Pleasant and have found my Vet for sure!!!!!

Tigger visited them a few weeks ago for a sore paw. I think he thought the place and the people were pretty cool. He busted his cat carrier so he could look around. He purred all through his exam and just, overall, had a wonderful time. Dr. Glover and her staff were wonderful to Tigger and me. We have finally found a vet we can relate to.

I have been taking both of my dogs to Live Oak for 3 years, I feel like I am taking my pets to the family doctor, all of the staff take a personal interest and I have always been satisfied with the result and they are very reasonably priced. If you are interested in good health care for your pets with personal attention, take them here. I have tried another in the area and wound up sitting in a crowded waiting area, large staff, and the environment really made the dogs anxious.
Dr. Glover and her staff are great!

We have 2 dogs and went to see Dr. Raymond at Live Oak on 06/06/15. When we got our dogs a few years ago we decided to try out a vet in Goose Creek, which was closer to home. It was a decent experience but felt like some things the vet recommended weren't actually necessary. As a results, we decided to try out Live Oak and couldn't have had a better experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Raymond has a genuine heart for his clients and their animals. He is very candid about what tests/vaccines/procedures are necessary and what can be skipped. He's not in the business of wasting your money or time and our dogs both love him! I would give them 6 stars if that was an option.

Doctor Glover is fantastic! I have 3 dogs, all 3 love to go to the vet. This is one of the few places I have been where appointments are on time and the vet takes time to answer all of my questions....
