We love this vet! When I got a new puppy, a friend recommended the Mt. Pleasant Animal Hospital to us so we called and scheduled Finley's first visit. They were booked up because we called on such short notice and offered us a spot at their "sister clinic" -- so cool! This makes it super convenient and easy to make appointments because if one is full you can go to the other and everything overlaps! However, we have ALWAYS come to the Shuler location because we love it! Our puppy loves the vet and helpers, and he has never once cried for any of his shots. Impressive! They give you the cutest freepuppy gift bag on your first visit with all kinds of information, treats, and even your first month's worth of flea and heart worm prevention! It's clean, welcoming, and an effortless appointment every single time. It's a little pricey, but I think it's worth it for our furry friends. For as long as we live here, this will be our vet! Doctors Kevin, Laura, Marian and Epp. I adore these folks. They have endured our numerous dogs and cats for many, many years. They've never let me down. I love these guys! The entire staff here rocks! Baxter gets such great care here and they are all very personable and they explain everything in layman's terms and save you money where they can. They have all Baxter's supplies here, heartworm prevention, flea & tick care, his special diet dog food and even delivery service for his dog food. I highly recommend Dr. Marian Shuler-Holladay. We relocated from New Orleans and initially had a hard time finding someone in town that I trusted to be thorough, as well as cautious, with a more high risk animal and this clinic has been just that. Kristine, Patrick, and the other techs are always happy to see us and unbelievably responsive whenever I have a question. Dr. Epps is a young and skillful surgeon. Who did a terrific job cutting my boy Elmo Elrod's tumors out yesterday. Tim, the Surgeons asistant, did the hardest work of keeping Elmo sedated during surgery and ensuring he woke up. Elmo is almost 12, so I was concerned about him 'going under the knife', but the whole staff, including English who runs the office and the kind Lady in the back who put the cat away, are awesome people. Thank you for the great job! Don't let Dr. Epps youthful appearance fool you. He's worked in Emergency clinics and has a tremendous amount of surgical experience, and I would trust him again with my boys again. Read Less

We have five wonderful cats in our family. Our two newest kitten additions brought us to Shuler Vet Clinic to establish a new veterinary relationship. The attention to detail and kind caring compassionate service has been wonderful. I don't believe in a lot of tests and procedures so when we went through all that were in best interest of the animals, they helped me to make the best decisions. Also prepared "care plans" for the kittens and remaining pets. I have truly been dazzled with their follow up calls, emails, and reminders for upcoming appointments. We just had our oldest and wisest pet Yoda there for his first new pet appointment. All went well and their care for our mature cat was just as detailed. When my German Shepard broke her leg and was being operated on about 5 times at Vet hospital in Mount Pleasant Shuler Veterinary clinic provided excellent care for the things that happen when a dog has been operated on several times. they were very kind and diagnosed my dogs problems in a very nice a friendly manner, I highly recommend them.Read Less

Dr Marian, Kristine and Patrick are absolutely fantastic. The pace is relaxed and not at all frenetic or crowded which I have experienced at other offices. I have never once felt rushed while at an appointment or talking with the doctor. They've seen my pets through ingested objects, cardiac issues, hyperthyroidism, and cystitis not to mention the annual exam. Prices are very reasonable and there is never pressure to go the most expensive route. I could not be more happy with Shuler vet and look forward to my animals being cared for by this team for a long time to come.Read Less
