I had an AWFUL experience with this vet office. I had the unfortunate experience of having to euthanize my foster dog. In the room where the procedure was to take place, the older female was casually doing, and complaining about doing, her taxes. We were there mourning the impeding death of our dog and she was fussing about her TAXES in the SAME ROOM! The vet had HORRIBLE bedside manner. We had to wait for the rescue to have someone authorize the euthanasia. He was rushing us for that to happen, not because the dog was inhumanely suffering but because he was being inconvenienced. He came in and out of the room 3 times, each time with a complaint that someone had not arrived to authorized the euthanasia. Once authorization was given, he did not allow final good-byes. The person who authorized it wanted to have a moment but that was not given. Also, the vet never said he was starting the process. The dog's last moments were him looking around for a familiar face because we were all positioned at the back half of his body and were not allowed to be in front of the dog for him to be comforted by us. He was treated with no dignity or respect in his final moments. After his passing the vet asked, multiple times, what we were going to do with the dog and who was taking him. We were literally balling our eyes out and THAT is what he had to say. All of that had been discussed and arranged prior to the procedure. The ONLY reason I am giving a 1-star is because of the vet tech. She tried to be compassionate but even her efforts were stifled by the vet. From start to finish the entire visit lasted less than 1hr. The appointment was not to euthanize, it was for a check-up. When I got there, there were no customers waiting in the lobby and none when I left either. The entire experience was absolutely awful and the treatment of both the dog and us was ill-mannered and disrespectful. Read Less

After picking up a stray, we needed to get her into the vet. Thankfully, Old Trolley had an opening that same day & got us right in. Unfortunately, this pup tested positive for heartworms.A local rescue that we have worked with uses Old Trolley for their vet services, so I know that they often work with dogs with heartworms, which put me at ease.The facility itself isn't anything fancy - it's a little bit older & can tell that it's been well used for a while. The staff was helpful in answering my questions. We have started our new fur baby on heartworm treatment and the staff at Old Trolley has made sure that we stayed informed and aware of the process, as well as given use price estimates for all services and treatments, which has been helpful.Overall, we have been pleased with the vet care that has been provided for our pup.
